Watch | 13 Years old Gazan survives Israeli strike, Begins Journey of Recovery in the US
In June 2024, 13-year-old Mazyouna Damoo survived an Israeli missile strike on her apartment in Nuseirat refugee camp, Gaza, which killed her siblings Hala, 13, and Mohannad, 10.
Pulled from the rubble with half her face destroyed and her jawbone exposed, Mazyouna faced near-certain death. Her familyโs repeated pleas for medical evacuation were initially ignored by Israel, leaving her wounds infected and excruciatingly painful.
After international media coverage, Israel finally permitted her to travel. Last November, Mazyouna, her mother, and her surviving sister Tala arrived in El Paso, Texas, where she has undergone multiple reconstructive surgeries at a childrenโs hospital, including rebuilding her cheek, lips, and jawbone. Temporary prosthetics now allow her to eat, speak, and regain mobility, with dental implants planned for the future.

Breaking | Israel is stealing human organs from slain Palestinian detainees
โWhen we examined the bodies, we found that large parts were missing, there were half bodies, bodies without heads, without limbs, without eyes, and without internal organs.
Dr. Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, says Israeli occupation forces are stealing organs from the bodies of slain Palestinian detainees returned to Gaza in recent days.
He said dozens of bodies delivered near the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis were found mutilated and missing vital parts, including eyes, limbs, and internal organs.
According to Al-Thawabta, many of the corpses appeared to have been run over by tanks or partially melted, while others showed signs of torture and execution.
He described the findings as โshocking evidence of war crimes,โ confirming that a joint governmental committee has been formed to document and present the evidence to international courts.

Breaking | Israeli settlers are reportedly attempting to block a small convoy of life-saving aid trucks at the Karam Abu Salem crossing into Gaza.
The trucks, expected to arrive Friday morning, may remain at an Israeli military warehouse until a limited number of Palestinian trucks are allowed to collect the aid.
Gaza, under a prolonged blockade, requires 500โ1,000 aid trucks daily, making the current deliveries, just dozens to a hundred trucks, insufficient for the more than two million residents.

NEW | France and Britain, in coordination with the United States, are working to finalize a UN Security Council resolution in the coming days to establish an international stabilization force in Gaza, French officials said Thursday.
The plan comes as a fragile U.S.-mediated ceasefire between Israel and Hamas holds, with early preparations underway to stabilize the enclave.
French Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pascal Confavreux emphasized the need for a UN mandate to provide legal legitimacy and encourage contributions from other countries. The force would not be a traditional UN peacekeeping mission funded by the world body, but a Security Council-backed international deployment, similar to past missions in Haiti, with authorization to โtake all necessary measuresโ to fulfill its mandate.

Countries in discussions to contribute include Indonesia, UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Azerbaijan, and Italy, with Indonesia previously offering 20,000 troops if a UN resolution is passed. Currently, a small U.S. contingent is in the region to assist with coordination and oversight of the operation.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer noted the force will take time to organize, as the terms of reference and operational details are still being finalized. The initiative follows a recent UN General Assembly endorsement promoting a two-state solution and supporting the deployment of a temporary international stabilization mission in Gaza.

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) warned on Thursday that the health situation in Gaza remains extremely critical, noting that the ceasefire has not been accompanied by the opening of crossings or the delivery of humanitarian aid.
In a statement, MSF said it has seen no improvement in its ability to bring in aid, citing the same obstacles that have blocked assistance.
