This isn't the 'start' of his offensive against them. The entire battlefield would have been prepped BEFORE he signed the Executive Order.

I mention this because many/most members of the group have almost certainly been meeting to discuss how to proceed, given this notable course correction Trump has taken against them and their operations.

Their problem is that they're too late.
Way too late.

It's a given that grand juries have already been empaneled for some time, and prosecutors would have already obtained warrants that allow them to collect all of the texts, calls, and emails of the shot-callers, foot soldiers, and even the wealthy cretins who fund the organization.

But, wait!! There's more!!

It gets exponentially worse (for them) as said warrants would have included at least two jumps.

This means federal agents can lawfully intercept not only the communications from an original source, but also everything any recipient of said communication has themselves texted, called, or emailed.

And then, this is where it goes from bad to worse, agents can surveil everyone another layer deep by surveilling the recipients of the recipients' communications, up and downstream.

Consider the sheer magnitude of what that means in terms of mapping out everyone and everything they do and say. There is quite literally nothing ANTIFA can do that federal agents don't know about ahead of time.

Oh, and let's not overlook that every single chapter would have long been compromised by undercover agents and/or leveraged confidential informants who provide real-time intelligence from the inside, including the various factions meeting to figure out how to respond in real-time.

In essence, they're already fooked seven ways to Sunday (and then some) before Trump officially took the step to declare war against them.
