ነርስ ሀብታሙ ተገኝ በ ቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ውስጥ ላለፋት 6 አመታት በድንገተኛና ፅኑ ህሙማን ክፍል እንዲሁም በተለያዩ የኢትዮጵያ ገጠር ክፍሎች ውስጥ ሀገሩን ያለመታከት አገልግሏል። እንዲሁም በ 2016 አ/ም ከ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በ Dietetics የ ማስተርስ ዲግሪውን ጨርሶ በተማረበት መልሶ በማገልገል ላይ ሳለ ድንገት በጀመረው ከፍተኛ የልብ ህመም ምክንያት በተደረገለት ምርመራ (Myocardial bridging) የተባለ የህመም አይነት አጋጥሞታል።

ህክምናውም በልብ ቀዶ ህክምና የሚስተካከል ነው። ይህም ህመም ለመንቀሳቀስም ሆነ ስራ ለመስራት አያስችልም፡፡
ስለሆነም ይህን ህክምና ለማድረግ የተጠየቀው ብር (1.000.000) አንድ ሚሊዪን ብር በላይ የተለያዩ ወጪዎችን ሳይጨምር) ተጠይቋል፡፡ በራሱ ከፍሎ መታከም ስለማይችል የእናንተ የኢትዮጵያውያን እርዳታ ይፈልጋል፡፡ ይህን ባለሙያ ተባብረን ሕክምናውን እነዲያገኝ እንድንረዳው ዘንድ በእግዚያብሄር ስም እንማፀናችኀለን።

Women in Health Science Panel Discussion Celebrates Achievements and Inspires Future Generations
Yesterday, a half-day panel discussion titled "Women in Health Science" celebrated the important contributions of women in health sciences. The event recognized their roles in shaping healthcare and aimed to inspire future generations to pursue careers in the field. It brought together leading professionals to share their knowledge, experiences, and advice with young women who aspire to follow in their footsteps.
The distinguished panel featured:
• Dr. Aregash, Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI)
• Dr. Hanan Alebachew, Surgeon, Endocrine and Breast Surgeon at SPHMMC
• Dr. Bisrat Demeke, Internist and Cardiologist at SPHMMC
• Prof. Workebebe, Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Addis Ababa University (AAU)
• Prof. Aster Tsegaye, Professor of Immunology and Immuno-Hematology at AAU
The speakers shared their personal journeys, discussing the challenges they faced and how hard work helped them achieve success. They emphasized that perseverance and determination were key to overcoming obstacles and reaching high leadership positions in their fields.
The panel also highlighted that success in healthcare is never easy and often comes with significant hardships. However, with resilience and dedication, these challenges can be overcome.
The participants, including high school students, undergraduate medical students, health science residents, and women from the health sector, were inspired by the panelists’ stories of resilience and success.
After the discussion, a Q&A session allowed participants to ask about time management, stress management, and career challenges. The panelists shared valuable insights on balancing work and life while maintaining mental well-being in a high-pressure field.
The event concluded with a call to continue celebrating women’s achievements in health science and supporting their journey to leadership. It was a reminder of the progress being made to empower women in healthcare and encourage future generations to make their mark in the field.This event is sponsored by the St. Paul Institute for Reproductive Health and Rights.
