Ok so the reason for the poll now. The farm is taking a new direction.... kind of. We are switching feeds. We have never been organic nor have we been non gmo. The reason for this is a matter of cost. We couldn't afford to feed anything other than a few chickens and a few goats if we were feeding non gmo feed. But I figure I better state that before I go on. We have started buying a commodity blend that is rice hulls, wheat middlin, corn chops and dried distillery grain. This will be a universal grain across the farm with minerals fed to the different species this will save us time, gas and money in the long run.
