Rugby match πŸ‰

I attended my first-ever rugby match Bordeaux vs Clermont! Hundreds of people supported Bordeaux's team, Union Bordeaux BΓ¨gles, cheering so passionately that Tim and I ended up losing our voices πŸ˜‚ I wanna think that exactly because of this Bordeaux-BΓ¨gles largely won with a score of 41-7 against Clermont !

It was then, amidst the roaring crowd and adrenaline-fueled shouts, I get that I definitely will be a die-hard rugby fan. Yep, France is capturing my heart πŸ‡«πŸ‡·

"A short meeting to eat in the morning" or
Lab meetings on Fridays

In my lab, every-week lab meetings are a friendly gathering, always with morning fresh croissants and coffee. We discuss current tasks on the reagents purchase and updates in each project (bcz in one lab we have several quite different projects). And sometimes we arrange a journal club on neuroscience and statistics

I feel this special aura of French lightness and comfort at these meetings. I won't be able to get rid of this fascinating feeling even if I move to another country. C’est ma vie.

Well, nothing profound, bcz I'm busy with lab time-consuming experiments, but I started making Instagram Reels about my lab time

This reel I made this morning, while I was mastering a new protocol:

Week 11-15 of internship

I have a real sprint at the end of the internship: (1) trying to finish as much as possible in the project (2) writing a script for RNA analysis and (3) composing an introduction for internship defend. So I am gonna drop here posts from time to time with useful links

Interesting resources that I use now:

Perplexity - is a conversational answer engine powered by Artificial Intelligence, which can also display the source of the information it provides;

NumPy documentation - an overview that explains the important features, details functions, modules, and objects included in NumPy, describing what they are and what they do;

Analyzing RNA-seq data with DESeq2 - the analysis of count data from RNA-seq is the detection of differentially expressed genes

See u, bye 🀍

IT WORKS!!!

I infected my baby MEF cells with the plasmid and they started to express certain fluorescent proteins! It was a very faint and pale fluorescence that I noticed only 5 minutes after looking at the dark picture through a microscope eyepiece.
I a m s o h a p p y !

Sorry, I am not allowed to use my phone inside the virus room, so I'm gonna attach a pic from the internet and edit it to show you how it was
