Starting week four of the Schumer Shutdown and federal workers are still being forced to work without pay.

Military families shouldnโ€™t be stressed wondering when their next paycheck will come, TSA agents shouldnโ€™t have to go to food banks, and air traffic controllers shouldnโ€™t have to drive DoorDash to make ends meet.

If Democrats wonโ€™t vote to reopen the government, supporting the Shutdown Fairness Act is the least they can do.

I urge all of my colleagues to vote for this common sense bill to ensure that we pay the people who are forced to work and keep our nation and the public safe.

Americans should not have to deal with the additional stress of missed paychecks during a government shutdown.

VERY ridiculous and rude.

There are 3 simple solutions:
1) House Continuing Resolution
2) Eliminate Shutdowns Act
3) Shutdown Fairness Act

If Democrats vote for a 12th time to keep the government shut down, they should at least vote to pay those who are still working.

Itโ€™s common sense and common courtesy โ€” thereโ€™s no excuse to oppose the Shutdown Fairness Act.

Democrats and their media allies are misleading Americans into thinking that all ACA subsidies are ending. False. The ACA and its core subsidies remain.

Democrats scheduled the enhanced subsidies to expire. They were supposed to be temporary help during the pandemic โ€” not a new, unaffordable, permanent entitlement.
