Democrats just voted to shut the government down at midnight. If they were serious about avoiding a shutdown, they would have supported the House-passed funding bill or backed my Eliminate Shutdowns Act last night.

The fact that millions of nonimmigrant foreign nationals obtained a U.S. visa without being interviewed or fingerprinted poses a significant national security risk.
