April-May Report
Friends, we want to share the results of our work for the end of spring. Spring was challenging and rich, not just due to non-stop work, but escalation from russia’s side.
The russian federation continues attacking civil infrastructure using the latest rockets, kamikaze drones, and aerial bombs. During April and May at least 20 mass shellings were detected. At the same time, the enemy used no less than 6479 various drones, attacking Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and other cities. Some of our comrades faced damage to their homes, one of the examples is the Odesa squat that suffered due to a drone hit nearby. We express our solidarity with our comrades.
Main events and achievements:
– On April 19, we honoured the memory of our fallen comrades Çîya, Cooper and Dmitry — our brothers-in-arms, who went missing after the battle near Bakhmut
– In May, we lost another close friend, Serhii Apukhtin. Rest in power
– 11 antiauthoritarian fighters joined the military, whom we verified for our regular support
– An interview with Charli, a Belarusian anarchist and combat medic in AFU, was published
– Solidarity Collectives carried out several humanitarian missions to Sumy, Vysopillia and Druzhkivka with medicines, household items and support for local communities
– Together with Solidrones, our FPV-Workshop and Resistance Support Club, we transferred 42 drones to our fighters. We’re grateful to everyone who participated in the logistics
– We’re continuing our campaign for freeing prisoners of war Denis Matsola and Vladislav Zhuravlev. Please, sign the petition and share the information about the campaign
Closed fundraisers:
– In April and May, we managed to finish two impressive fundraisers:
• Sych UAV for aerial reconnaissance group;
• a car for the international group
Both are already in the frontline position and are actively used.

Під час наступної гуманітарної поїздки однією з наших цілей є підтримка людей, які піклуються про тварин у прифронтових регіонах.
У багатьох містах і селах біля фронту повторюється одна й та сама ситуація: люди змушені тікати від війни, залишаючи своїх домашніх улюбленців. Тими тваринами починають опікуватися ті, хто лишився. Часто одна хата з бабусею та її песиком перетворюється на прихисток для десятків, а іноді й сотень покинутих котів і собак з усього села.
Для таких людей — зооволонтерів і місцевих мешканців — ми веземо корм. Також зараз збираємо кошти на ветеринарні препарати, які дуже потрібні. Наша мета — зібрати 500 євро.

One of our goals for the upcoming humanitarian trip is to aid people who take care of the animals in the frontline regions.
Many cities and villages near the frontline face the same situation again and again: people are forced to flee from the war, leaving behind their pets. These animals are taken care of by those who stayed. Often, one house with a granny and her dog turns into a shelter with tens, sometimes hundreds, of left-behind cats and dogs from all over the village.
For people like this – animal volunteers and locals – we’re bringing pet food and provisions. We are also currently raising funds for veterinary medicines, which are very much needed. Our goal is to raise 500 euros.

ДЕПУТАТИ-ПАРАЗИТИ НЕ ДАЮТЬ НАРОДУ ЖИТИ
"Пряма дія" разом з рештою небайдужого народу долучилася до масштабних протестів у Києві та Львові — Верховна Рада ухвалила законопроєкт №12414, який остаточно перетворює антикорупційні органи на слухняний інструмент влади. НАБУ та САП тепер підкоряються Генпрокурору — людині, яку призначає та контролює політична верхівка.
Це не про ефективність. Це про контроль за тим, щоб справи проти великих крадіїв не доходили до суду.
Поки більшість людей виживає на мізерні зарплати, хтось знову переписує закони під себе, аби знімати незручних детективів, закривати справи топкорупціонерів, керувати прокурорами як особистими підлеглими. Це грабунок народу руками влади.
Перед нами — очевидне свавілля влади, спроба посилити авторитарну вертикаль у воєнний час. Проблема корупції — не в окремих "поганих" чиновниках, а в самій системі. Її не виправиш черговими реформами згори. Корупцію можна приборкати тільки тоді, коли інституції будуть прозорими, горизонтальними і підконтрольними народу, а не купці можновладців.
Не дамо владі абарзєть!

Друзі, маємо оновлення щодо стану Дениса Мацоли, якого утримують у російському полоні.
За останньою інформацією, його досі тримають в одиночній камері. У 2023 році його активно водили на допити до слідчого — саме тоді протягом тижня його тримали без їжі, ймовірно, з метою тиску, аби вибити з нього свідчення. Можливо, він відмовився співпрацювати або просто не підійшов їм за якимись критеріями.
Його нинішній фізичний стан достеменно невідомий, але відомо, що до лікарів не звертався — сподіваємося, це добрий знак. Раз на тиждень полонених водять митися, годують, як для таких умов, більш-менш: переважно каша на воді, іноді бувають тушонка або курячі тельбухи.
На жаль, наразі передати щось або надіслати лист Денису неможливо — цензура повна.
Слідкуємо за новинами та продовжуємо боротьбу за його визволення.

According to the latest information, he’s still being held in solitary confinement. In 2023, he was frequently brought in for interrogation with an investigator. During that week, they starved him, probably as an intimidation tactic to beat the confession out of him. It is possible that he has refused to collaborate, or just didn’t fit a certain criterion.
His current physical condition is unclear; we only know that he wasn’t seeing doctors, and hope that it’s a good omen. Once a week, captives are taken to bathe, and they’re fed, more or less ok for such conditions: mostly porridge on water, sometimes stew or chicken giblets.
Unfortunately, currently it is impossible to pass or send anything to Denys — total censorship.
We follow the news and continue to fight for his release.
