Today I am heading out to the cabin. I'm closing out my vacation days with a little bit of off grid solitude. I will not be posting tomorrow or Sunday.

It's been a nice break. I had a massage yesterday. I've been sleeping in and playing video games and generally just resting. I'm glad I decided to take the time.

What a fascinating art form.

A coworker and I have started to develop a bit of a friendship around books.

I mentioned in a meeting before Christmas that I was into science fiction, and that created a connection, and we've been recommending books to each other ever since.

I read all kinds of genres. I'm working my way through the physical books on my shelves at home (finished a 600 page book while I was at the cabin), but I also got a library card and have been binging audiobooks.
