I have moved a bunch of times in my life. Way too many, honestly.

This is the first time I've hired movers. I'm so grateful that I could afford to do it. The way it's going to save my back.

The movers are now moving stuff into my new house. A solid 70% of my personal property is art supplies. It's honestly kind of ridiculous.

It has been a very busy day, and I'm exhausted. The move is done, but I have a LOT of unpacking to do.

My new studio is going to be so cute.

It has been quite a day. So many different emotions.

I barely did any of the moving myself, but somehow directing the movers really wore me out. Decision fatigue hit me when we started moving stuff into my new house, and eventually I told them to just move most of the boxes and stuff into the living room. I'll sort it out later.

I was super glad to not have to move any furniture myself. I have moved furniture so many times, and I just can't anymore.

EH and I went to dinner afterwards. Now I'm back at my house (my house!!!!!!!!). I used the shower for the first time, and it was a 10/10 experience. Very nice shower head.

I got my bed made, put on my jammies took my vitamins, and now I'm going to lie in bed and watch TikTok until I go to sleep.

My nervous system is a lot more relaxed than I expected it to be. I think I'll sleep ok tonight, probably mostly out of exhaustion.

Tomorrow, who knows? I do have some essential things I need to unpack (where did I put my French press?), but I'm going to let my energy move me this weekend.

Oh, and my Converse collection has a new home.

The first night in my new house was a success. I slept so soundly.

It's SO QUIET.

I made a pretty good dent in getting things unpacked today. I still have a long way to go, but I also spent a chunk of the day sleeping.

On the one hand, the quiet is really nice. On the other hand, it's also a little Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!

This house is really cute, and I'm going to make it even cuter. I'm looking forward to having people over.

I still haven't found my French press.

I have a doorbell that I can unplug. It may not be plugged in all that often.

I feel like I'm at an Airbnb.

I have errands I kind of need to run, but I'm having so much fun unpacking and moving around my space I keep putting it off.
