Be less of a judge and you will be surprised that when you become a witness and you don't judge yourself, you stop judging others too. And that makes you more human, more compassionate, more understanding.

The past has no power to stop you from being present now. Only your grievance about the past can do that. What is grievance? The baggage of old thought and emotion.

You need to know why you have a problem, so you don’t keep repeating it.
According to Lao Tzu-
Watch you’re your thoughts they become words, watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

Krishna to Arjuna:
I alone am real, Arjuna, looking out, amused from deep within the eyes of every creature. I am the object of all knowledge, father and mother of the world, the source of all things. I am the goal, the root, the witness, home and refuge, dearest friend, creation and annihilation, everlasting seed and treasure.
I am the radiance of the sun, I open or withhold the rainclouds, I am immortality and death, am being and non-being.
I am the Self, Arjuna, seated in the heart of every creature. I am the origin, the middle, and the end that all must come to.
I am always with all beings; I abandon no one. And however great your inner darkness, you are never separate from me. Let your thoughts flow past you, calmly; keep me near, at every moment; trust me with your life, because I am you, more than you yourself are.

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."
Explanation: This quote by Lao Tzu is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of love. Lao Tzu suggests that receiving love from someone gives us a sense of inner strength, as it empowers us and makes us feel valued and supported. On the other hand, loving someone deeply requires courage, as it entails vulnerability and the willingness to open our hearts to another person. Lao Tzu's words convey the idea that love is not merely a passive emotion but an active force that can inspire and empower us to overcome challenges and grow as individuals.

"Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step."
This quote by Lao Tzu emphasizes the importance of taking action and making progress in life. Lao Tzu encourages us to tackle difficult tasks when they appear easier to manage and to accomplish great things when they are still in their early stages. By doing so, we can avoid procrastination and overcome obstacles with relative ease. Furthermore, Lao Tzu uses the metaphor of a journey of a thousand miles starting with a single step to highlight the significance of taking that first small step towards our goals. It reminds us that every grand endeavor begins with a small act, and it is important not to underestimate the power of beginning and taking that first step forward.

among the numerous scriptures which teach us the path to mokşa, śri śiva gitā is one of the foremost few among them. although it didn't gain popularity as like as śrimad bhagwad gitā yet it is always good to learn spirituality irrespective of the popularity of the source. there are 28 gitās available in our scriptures like śiva gitā; ūttara gitā; rūdra gitā; brahma gitā; guru gitā; bhagwad gitā; devi gitā; ganesha gitā; avadhuta gitā; etc. to name a few. we need to identify which one is the right gitā for us and follow the same accordingly.
it needs to be mentioned explicitly here that there cannot be a comparison between śiva gitā with bhagwad gitā or any gitā as a matter of fact. every gitā has a metaphor a central theme around which it revolves and a unique style of rendering the metaphors. bhagwad gitā is a vedantic scripture which is the best because it teaches all round sacred wisdom from upanişads. but that doesn’t mean śiva gitā or any gitā is inferior to that. śiva gitā primarily focusses on preaching about vidhātā paramaśiva who is the parabrahman of vedas and it only reveals the path to mokşa or in simple terms sailing with the sailor is paramaśiva. so for a normal aspirant who doesn’t belong to any sect this would be a good source of wisdom. for a śiva devotee or a śaivite this gitā would be like a treasure. therefore it has to be understood clearly that comparison between gitā is an absurd activity and everyone is expected to learn from this text and remain blissful in the devotion of the parasupreme personality of vidhātā paramaśiva!
