StatiXOS v4 was special for us. It was our most popular release garnering roughly over 50,000 downloads. More so than downloads, StatiX v4 was the last version of StatiX where all of core team members actively worked on StatiX to bring you the experience you’re now familiar with.
The lockscreen
To many people, this is still the more familiar lockscreen of Android which makes sense since the layout hadn’t seen any major changes since Android 5.0 Lollipop (remember that?) One of the cool things here are the clocks. Yes, they’re coming back with Android 14 but these old ones still look great, don’t they?

Uhm, what's that again? Oh a power menu?
Coming to another part of the SystemUI that was completely dropped in favor something flatter and simpler was the power menu which tripled(?) as a shortcut to Wallet, Smart Home controls, and of course the actual power menu buttons. Thanks to revelations by Danny Lin (kdrag0n), we were able to drop the opaque black background into something a lot more pretty. The buttons too were adapted as a result.
