Sequential - Take 5
There was a leak, at a belgium webshop, which was showing a new instrument by Sequential.
It has a full - sized keyboard, of three and a half octave and it's named Take 5.
Seems like it has a polyphony of five voices and it's oscillator are analog.
We can see two oscillator and one sub - oscillator, per voice.
Two envelopes, one LFO (plus one global LFO), mixer - section, filter with resonance and drive, oscillator - sync and FM, modulation - assignment, glide, unison, overdrive, step - sequencer, clock - generator, arpeggiator, MIDI, mod - and pitch - wheel and patch - storage.
And there is Sequential's vintage - button.
The casing - design, of the Take 5, is coming from the same line as the Pro 3.
Price will be, most probably, a few bugs above €1000.

Sequential - Take 5
Now, that the Take 5 is revealed, we know that it is an analog (oscillator, filter, amp. Envelopes are digital - controlled), with a polyphony of five.
The Take 5 has no multi - timbrality. The polyphonic step - sequencer is providing just 64 steps. And there are only 128 user - patch memory - places.
Some cool specs are the variable wave - shape (except sub - oscillator), oscillator - sync, FM, 5 - stage envelopes, self - resonating filter, configurable unison - mode (1 to 5 voices), modulation - matrix (16 slots), digital - effects and an overdrive - circuit.
Also nice, is the factory - mode (or non - factory mode). Using a switch, all parameter are using the front - panel settings.
The Take 5 has the so called vintage - knob, which is producing parameter - variation, so the different voices don't sound exactly the same.
And it is coming with a complete MIDI - trio (in / out / thru) of 5 - pole sockets.
Specifications:
°Two analog VCO, per voice.
°Continuously variable wave - shape (sine, sawtooth, variable - width pulse), per oscillator.
°Hard sync: Oscillator 1 is syncing to oscillator 2.
°Sub - octave generator (oscillator 1 / square - wave), per voice.
°Keyboard - tracking on / off, for each oscillator.
°Front - panel frequency - modulation.
°Mixer with oscillator 1 - amount, oscillator 1 sub - octave amount, oscillator 2 - amount, white noise / pink noise - amount.
°Four - pole, resonant, low - pass filter, per voice, based on Prophet - 5 Rev 4 - design.
°Filter can be driven into self - oscillation, with the Resonance Control.
°Bi - polar filter - envelope amount.
Two 5 - stage envelope - generator (ADSR + delay), with variable routing (filter, amplifier, auxiliary).
°Velocity - modulation, of each envelope - amount.
°Envelopes freely assignable, to multiple modulation - destinations.
°Five wave - shapes: Triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square and random (sample and hold).
°Clock - sync (internal or external MIDI - clock).
°Freely assignable, to multiple modulation - destinations.
°One dedicated reverb, with damping, pre - delay, decay and tone.
°One multi - effect with stereo - delay, BBD - delay, tape - delay, chorus, flanger, phaser, ring - modulation, vintage rotating speaker, distortion, high - pass filter.
°Dedicated overdrive - effect.
°Vintage - knob, is recreating the characteristics of vintage synthesizer, by introducing parameter variations, from voice to voice.
°Channel - aftertouch, with bi - polar amount.
°Aftertouch, freely assignable to multiple modulation - destinations.
°Master - clock, with tap - tempo.
°BPM - control and display.
°MIDI - clock sync.
°Arpeggiator (up, down, up + down, random, assign modes), syncable to MIDI - clock.
°Re - latching arpeggiation.
°Polyphonic step - sequencer, with up to 64 steps, with ties and rests.
°Full - sized, semi -weighted, 3.5 - octave premium keyboard by Fatar, with velocity and aftertouch.
°Spring - loaded pitch - wheel, with selectable range per program, with independently adjustable upper and lower pitch - wheel range transpose - controls.
°Low - split mode, creating two independent performance - zones, with different octave - ranges.
°Hold - switch, latching held notes on.
°Polyphonic glide (portamento).
°Unison - mode (monophonic), with configurable voice - count, from one to all five voices and key - modes.
°Factory - switch: When off, the front panel is live ("what you see is what you hear").
°128 user - and 128 factory - presets.
°1 MIDI - in, 1 MIDI - out and 1 MIDI - thru port ( 5 - pole)
°USB - port for bidirectional MIDI - communication.
°1 Sustain / foot - switch input.
°1 Expression - pedal input.
°Main stereo - output (2 x 1/4″ phone jack).
°Headphone - out (stereo 1/4″ phone jack).
Price: €1299
