In these older paintings it’s even more confusing because the female character appears to have a rope or a chain around the dragon’s neck. Did she betray the dragon and thus that’s how St George was able to slay him? Or what else can the chain around dragon’s neck held by the female character mean? Most of these depictions where the female holds a rope around dragon’s neck come from Russia.

What a sweet sorry! A dog’s friendship is different from a human’s friendship.

When a dog loves you, that dog has chosen only you to love. A dog will be fond of other humans, or possibly even other pets in the house, but that dog will love only one human. When a human loves, he/she can love many other humans and pets all at once. If dog is removed from the environment where their favorite human lives, the dog usually goes through a deep depression stage, but eventually will choose a new human to love.

If a dog loves you, you are their whole entire world. However, when a human loves you, you become one of many parts in that human’s life.

A dog is not trying to prove a point to you, or pay you back for the pain you have caused.

If you are out all day, when you finally show up back at home, and walk through the front door, your pup will not give you lots of attitude and chew you out for leaving it at home all day waiting on you while you were out having fun all day, trying to make you feel sorry for it, trying to make you feel guilty for being gone all day.. No this will not be the reaction of your pup to you finally returning back home, the only thing that dog will do is jump at you with great joy and happiness because you have finally returned to it.

That’s one of the examples of the difference between a dog’s l friendship and a human’s friendship
When I was younger my Mother had two Corgis that she had raised since they were pups.

The two dogs were inseparable, eventually the younger of the two, Elsa, died. My Mom loved her dogs and she was heartbroken, but so especially was her other Corgi, Walter.

Who held on to keep my Mom company for another couple of years. When he died my Mom was crestfallen, she was sitting out on the front step, tears in her eyes just looking up at the sky after it rained. And then up in the sky was a double rainbow.

My Moms eyes teared up even more, "She came down to meet him" she said. I could see it in her eyes that she saw them frolicking as they always had up there atop the rainbows, barking and going off to coordinate the mischief and merriment they had in their puppyhood.

My Mom like many others, had adopted the Folk belief that not only do all Dogs go to Heaven they cross the Rainbow Bridge when they do so. Because who could possibly consider their four legged friend, their loyal, loving companion to be deserving of oblivion or Hell. But such is Christian belief. It is the Pagan Heart and instinct that told my Mother what was right and what was wrong, she knew nothing as innocent and kind as her Dogs could suffer or be snuffed out for the Sin of being Dogs.

At the time I didn't have the heart to tell her that was a folk belief downright decried in her religion. So I smiled and I said "Of course she did, she'd never let Wally be alone again". My Mom Smiled, her Four Legged Friends of the Last Decade were together again and that was Good.

If you build something as a symbol of power without making it both beautiful and culturally significant you are not displaying power as much as how undeserving you are to wield it.
