In doing so, members get quicker technical support, feedback on upcoming features, and more.
Core teams will actively contribute to the TezosBaking Discord baking channels and use them as dedicated channels for conversations about baking.
While updates will still be shared across various platforms, prioritising engagement efforts within the Tezos Discord channels can offer the entire community more streamlined and dedicated support.
As Tezos continues to grow, we are committed to boosting baker engagement and would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

Any active baker will be able to participate in the 3 Layer 1 smart contracts governing EVM kernel upgrades, security upgrades, and sequencer committees.

3️⃣ If successful, the chosen kernel upgrade deploys automatically after Cooldown.
Etherlink's Security governance is designed for swift incident response without compromising community consensus.
It follows the same structure as Kernel governance, but with shorter periods and higher quorum and supermajority requirements.
The final piece of the puzzle is Sequencer Committee's governance, where bakers propose and upvote Etherlink sequencer operators.
Tezos bakers will have oversight of Etherlink's sequencers, ensuring they are run with the community's best interests in mind.
Any active baker will be able to participate in the 3 Layer 1 smart contracts governing EVM kernel upgrades, security upgrades, and sequencer committees.

- 10s block time: lower latency, faster finality
- Data Availability-Layer, boosting scalability of Smart Rollups
- Refinements to Tezos PoS
They differ regarding Adaptive Issuance, Staking, and Adaptive Slashing:
Paris B includes these features and would enable them on protocol activation.
Paris A doesn’t include them, but bakers can vote for activating them later via a dedicated on-chain signaling mechanism.

➡️ A file imported in another file is no more exported by default, it will have to be explicit.
💡The breaking change impacts the following libraries that you will have to update:

@ ligo/breathalyzer
