The HHS Office for Civil Rights recently affirmed protections for families in the 46 states with vaccine religious exemption laws. Educational institutions must honor religious exemptions and cannot deny access to education. Providers in the Vaccines for Children Program must honor state exemption laws—ensuring no child is unfairly denied healthcare for their family’s faith.
