The question isn’t ‘why is the Global Sumud Flotilla sailing?’. The question, as Greta Thunberg explains, is ‘why is this mission even necessary in the first place?’

It’s necessary because our governments are failing to uphold international law in the face of a live-streamed genocide. Our voyage is about more than just breaking the siege and bringing humanitarian aid; it’s about demanding justice and liberation for all people, and taking action is the very bare minimum we can do.

KINDLY PAY ATTENTION TO ISR4EL'S INHUMAN ACTIONS. Inhumane acts have taken place in international waters, where @GlobalSumudFlotilla is carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza’s civilian population suddenly was intercepted illegally by Isr4el’s army forces. This is a direct violation of humanitarian and maritime law, as the civilians carried no weapons. We are now witnessing the cruelty of Isr4el’s forces, who not only seized vital aid for Palestine but also abducted nonviolent civilians.

As of today, 201 of 497 participants of @GlobalSumudFlotilla have been forcibly taken. These civilians whose mission was to break the siege and deliver aid have been unlawfully abducted. They demand justice and liberation for Palestine. Although many civilians are raising awareness about this interception, their voices are being silenced by Isr4el’s forces.

We urge everyone to read and spread this devastating news, not only for our friends in Palestine but also for the civilians who have been abducted. Let us pray for their freedom and for the day they can live with dignity as human beings. Together we stand with Palestine.
