Wouldn’t killing Klaus also kill all his hybrids?
Doing a rewatch, and in s4e9, a bunch of the hybrids (led by Tyler) formulate a plan to kill Klaus, but wouldn’t that be their own death sentence as well, since we know Klaus definitely turned them all into vampires?
We also know that Tyler is aware of this, as he almost “died” in an earlier episode when it was thought that Alaric’s evil side killed Klaus before Bonnie’s spell saved him. So, he knows that Klaus remaining technically alive also kept him alive. So why didn’t he at least warn anybody that it could be a possibility?
Also, nobody seems concerned anymore that Klaus might be the sire to all of their bloodlines? We especially know that Caroline is aware of Tyler’s susceptibility to death if Klaus dies, so why was she not trying to stop him from killing Klaus as soon as she found out his plan? Also the fact that they don’t know who is actually the sire to their bloodline yet, so they could all be at risk of dying if Klaus does.

Stefan is literally the sweetest character
What he did for Caroline with slumber party was genuinely so nice.

Katherine is always one step ahead (s2) ... having John on her side was so unexpected.
Nothing this girl does is EVER not for her benefit. When she told Stefan to get Isobol, I really thought she finally have a little goodness in her. Or at least her love for Stefan. But was I wrong.
Then again, I am so impressed the way her mind works. Truly iconic.

Why does Ian Somerhalder seem to be disliked??
So I’ve never liked Damon as a character, but I’ve always thought that Ian seemed to be a cool guy, but people on this sub seem to dislike him. Why is that? What has he done?

caroline forbes
i’m currently rewatching the vampire diaries after around 10 years. i’m on season 1 right now & back then, i used to think caroline was not only annoying but, i felt like she did too much.
however, after rewatching the episodes, i’ve honestly found my opinions to have changed as well as my persepctives, especially since i watched it when i was back in high school. now im in my mid 20s and understand more of her character. i think she is one of the most normal, raw & real character of the show.
i feel like a lot of us were in the exact situation shes in. feeling like a second choice, feeling as though we have to try just a bit harder than others to fit in or be acknowledged. feeling insecurities with a lot of our emotional blemishes. i used to think these characteristics made her weak, but in reality she navigated all these emotions on her own & only broke down when she felt completely lost or invalidated. and above all, she’s just misunderstood, just like any other highschooler would feel.
i know that by the end of the series i was very fond of her the first time watching it & i still feel that way now.

Why did vampires in this show never just...heal the people after feeding?
I always found it so dumb how after feeding on some of the humans they would just put a bandage or cover it up like they couldn't just feed them some blood to heal it and compel them to forget after or something. For Matt I think he was used to feed a couple times and then the scene after you would see him with a bandage. I don't get why they wouldn't just heal him lol If I was a vampire I would just do that? it would be so much easier
