📢 IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT DHUL HIJJAH 📢
📌 In sha Allaah, those who intend to make sacrifice on 10th Dhul Hijjah (from the non pilgrims) should cut their nails and trim their hairs on the last day of Dhul Qaidah before Magrib as they can't cut the nails , trim the hair in the first ten days of DhulHijjah before making the sacrifice as per the Hadith of Umm Salamah (RadiAllahu anha).
➡️Umm Salamah (radhi allahu anha) related that the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said:
"If you see the Hilaal (new moon) of Dhul-Hijjah, and any one of you wants to make a sacrifice, then he should not cut (anything) from his hair and his nails." and in one narration he said: "...then he should not take (cut) anything from his hair, nor from his nails, until he performs the sacrifice."
[Saheeh Muslim]
📌As TOMORROW TUESDAY (27th of May, 2025) corresponding to 29th of Dhul Qaidah 1446AH. in Gulf Countries might be the last day of Dhul Qaidah there and the countries following their schedule, those who intend to do qurbaani should trim their nails and hair before Magrib on Tuesday, In sha Allaah.
P. S.. PLEASE NOTE ONE WHO INTENDS TO DO UDHIYAH IS THE ONLY ONE UPON WHOM IS THE PROHIBITION OF CUTTING NAILS AND TRIMMING HAIRS, NOT THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD.

🌙 UNRESTRICTED TAKBIRAT START FROM THE TIME THE CRESCENT OF DHUL-HIJJAH IS WITNESSED 🌙
🎓 [Shaikh] Khālid Ibn Dahwī adh-Dhafīrī.
➡️ The mention and vocalisation of the unrestricted takbīrāt begin from the time the sun sets on the night preceding the first day of Dhul-Hijjah due to the saying of Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala) :
✨لِّيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ
“That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known* days.” (Al-Hajj: 28)
ℹ️ *And these are the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
FOOTNOTE:
📌The takbīr is of two types:
1. Unrestricted takbīr: meaning that which is not restricted to a particular time; and this refers to all of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah right through to the last of the days of tashrīq.
2. Restricted takbīr: meaning the takbīr that is recited after the daily prayers, beginning from Fajr prayer on the day of ‘Arafah (9th Dhul-Hijjah) until ‘Asr prayer in the last day of the days of tashrīq (i.e. the 13th Dhul-Hijjah).

🌟YAUM AL ARAFAH - 9th Dhul-Hijjah REMINDERS 🌟
PART 1️⃣
SIGNIFICANCE AND VIRTUES:
1️⃣Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation for two years. : (For Non Pilgrims)
The ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah is the day of ’Arafah, since it is on this day that the pilgrims gather at the mountain plain of ’Arafah, praying and supplicating to their Lord. It is mustahabb (highly recommended) for those who are not pilgrims to fast on this day, since the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) was asked about fasting on the day of ’Arafah, so he said,
🔹“It expiates the sins (Minor) of the past year and the coming year.” [Muslim (no. 1162)]
Imaam at-Tirmidhee (d.275H) – rahimahullaah – said,
“The People of Knowledge consider it recommended to fast on the day of ’Arafah, except for those at ’Arafah.”
[Muslim (no. 1348)]
2️⃣Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala frees slaves from the fire on Arafat more than any other day:
Likewise, the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘There is no day on which Allaah frees people from the Fire more so than on the day of ’Arafah. He comes close to those (people standing on ’Arafah), and then He revels before His Angels saying, ‘What are these people seeking.”
[Jaami’ut-Tirmidhee (3/377)]
3⃣Forgiveness of the Sins even if they are like the foam on the Sea:
As for you staying till the evening in Arafah, then Allaah descends to the sky of the Duniya and He boasts about you to the Angels, and says: ‘My slaves have come to Me, looking rough, from every deep valley hoping for My mercy, so if your sins were equivalent to the amount of sand or the drops of rain or like the foam on the sea I will forgive them. So go forth My slaves! Having forgiveness and for what or who you have interceded for.’
📚[ Taken from ‘Saheeh al-Targheeb wa Tarheeb’. Volume 2,Page 9-10, hadeeth no. 1112]
4⃣It is the day on which the religion was perfected and Allaah’s Favour was completed:
It was reported from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a Jewish man said to him, “O Ameer al-Mu’mineen, there is an aayah in your Book which you recite; if it had come to us Jews, we would have taken that day as an ‘Eid (festival).” ‘Umar said, “Which aayah?” He said: “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [al-Maa’idah 5:3 – interpretation of the meaning]. ‘Umar said, “We know on which day and in which place that was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). It was when he was standing in ‘Arafaah on a Friday.”
📚 [Sahîh Al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim]
5⃣Allaah expresses His pride to His angels:
It was reported from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah expresses His pride to His angels at the time of ‘Ishaa’ on the Day of ‘Arafaah, about the people of ‘Arafaah. He says, ‘Look at My slaves who have come unkempt and dusty.’”
📚Narrated by Ahmad and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.
6⃣The standing on ‘Arafaat is the hajj.
The standing on ‘Arafaat is the hajj. The crowds should remind you of the Day of Resurrection. Humble yourself to Allaah, manifest your ‘uboodiyyah to Him Alone through du’aa, sincere intention and strong determination to free yourself from the sins of the past and to build up a commitment to rush for doing what is good. Think of becoming a better person when you return. Rid yourself of false pride and showing off because it may ruin what you gain on this day.

🌟YAUM AL ARAFAH - 9th Dhul-Hijjah REMINDERS 🌟
PART 2️⃣
The Salaf on the Day of ‘Arafah
1. Hakeem bin Hizaam (radhiyallaahu ‘anhu) would stand at ‘Arafah and with him would be one hundred camels, and one hundred slaves, so he would free his slaves. So the people would become boisterous with weeping and supplicating saying: “Our Lord; this is your slave who has freed his slaves; and we are your slaves so liberate us [i.e. from The Fire].”
2. Ibn Al-Mubaarak said: “I came to Sufyaan At-Thawree (rahimahullaah) on the evening of the day of ‘Arafah and he was kneeling upon his knees and his eyes were shedding tears. So I said to him: ‘who is in the worst condition from this gathering?’ so he said: ‘the one who thinks that Allaah will not forgive them.’”
3. It is reported that Al-Fudhail bin ‘Iyaad once looked at the weeping of the people at ‘Arafah and said: “Do you see that if these people were to go to a man and ask him for a Daaniq (a sixth of a dirham or a small silver coin) that he would refuse them?” they said: “No; by Allaah.” So he said: “By Allaah; Forgiveness with Allaah is easier than the compliance of a man for a Daaniq.”
4. Sufyaan At-Thawree said to someone who asked him as the people moved from ‘Arafah to Muzdalifah: “who from the people is most at loss in deal?” – alluding to the oppressive and people of wickedness. So he said: “the people most at loss in deal is the one who thinks that Allaah, The Most High, will not forgive these people.”
5. Ibn Al-Jawzi mentioned with his chain of narration that Muttarrif and Bakr bin ‘Abdillaah both stood at ‘Arafah, so Muttarrif said: “O Allaah; do not refuse them [the people] because of me.” Bakr said: “there is no better station than it nor one of more hope for its people; were it not that I was amongst them.”
6. Al-Fudhail said to Shu’aib bin Harb during the Hajj season: “If you think that there is anyone who witnessed the standing (at ‘Arafah) worse than me and you – then what a bad thing you think."
7. ‘Umar bin ‘Abdil-‘Azeez (rahimahullaah) gave a sermon at ‘Arafah and said: “Indeed; you have come from near and far, and have exhausted the backs and have worn out the garments. And the one who is foremost today is not the one whose riding beast and riding camel precedes; rather the one who is foremost today is the one who is forgiven.”
