The Importance of Raising Responsible Sons: A Call to Mothers and Families
https://kunooz-ul-ilm.com/the-importance-of-raising-responsible-sons-a-call-to-mothers-and-families/
While we all are worried about the big issues of the Ummah (those are indeed important) and are seeing people discussing those on big platforms, but there are silent issues which need our immediate attention. These issues are often unspoken and result in a chaos in the very basic unit of a society - A family.
When there is peace and harmony at the very basic level of a society, only then the peace and harmony will prevail in the whole Ummah bi'iznillaah.
Read the above article where such a delicate and unspoken issue has been addressed.

⚠️ Don’t Stop Speaking Out Against Tabarruj, Free Mixing, and Public Display of Beautification!
Their danger to the Muslim society is real and severe.
🔊 Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Aal ash-Shaykh رحمه الله said:
"Every individual must stop the women under his care from displaying themselves openly (sufur) and from free mixing (ikhtilat), because the trial of women is a serious one."
📍The Prophet ﷺ said:
“I have not left behind me any fitnah more harmful to men than women.”
These issues require:
- Constant advice and reminders
- Putting in serious effort to warn the people
- Explaining their harms
- Persisting in doing so
- And seeking the help of those in authority and influence — so that, perhaps, Allah may guide those who have gone astray.
📚 Fatawa wa Rasa’il of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim (10/50)
📢 Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله also said:
"It is obligatory upon the students of knowledge to take a stand against free mixing — to write about it in the newspapers, speak about it in the mosques and gatherings, and make it absolutely clear that it is ḥaram and not allowed at all!"
📚 Sharh al-Bukhari (2/319)

People of the world admire social status, financial success, power, beauty & recognition. But none of these things take you to Jannah.
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said:
لا تجعل الأحداث تشغلك عن عبادتك،
• Do not let events distract you from your worship.
• And beware of neglecting your portion of the Qur’an or adhkār due to following the news.
• And know that in times of tribulation and heedlessness, the rewards of righteous deeds become greater.
• The Prophet ﷺ said: “Worship during al-harj (turmoil) is like making hijrah to me.”
• So if the reward of hijrah from Makkah to Madinah has escaped you, then do not let the reward of worship during times of tribulation, heedlessness, and confusion escape you.

Strength Through Duty, Not Entitlement!
https://kunooz-ul-ilm.com/the-importance-of-raising-responsible-sons-part-2-strength-through-duty-not-entitlement/
In Part 1, we exposed the dangerous trend of raising boys to expect service rather than cultivate responsibility. Some misunderstood this as “feminism,” but truth needs no labels—justice isn’t gendered. This isn’t about Western ideologies; it’s about Islamic principles and common sense. A man who can’t manage his own life is no leader—he’s a liability.

Three things can save a person:

"I Don't Cook. I Don't Clean. Then Who Are You — An Elephant?"
Yesterday, I posted a poll in EF: *“Who all loves cooking?”*
And while many sisters responded joyfully, it reminded me of a question that’s popped up in many of our previous courses:
*“Is it really necessary to cook for your husband?”*
In today's world, cooking has somehow become a *controversial* topic.
No, not because of burnt rotis — but because of *burnt ideologies*.
We’ve absorbed this weird notion that cooking is beneath us.
That if you cook, clean, or care for your family — you’re somehow "just a housewife" and not “changing the world.”
The vibe is: *“Nah sis, I don’t cook, I don’t clean, I’m out here studying for the Ummah.”*
Ummah? MashaaAllah.
But, dear lioness of the Ummah... who’s feeding your cubs?
We wanna be soldiers for the deen but we refuse to pick up a broom for our mother.
We wanna marry a man who gives us peace, but we're not willing to bring peace into our own homes.
You say you don’t wanna be like your mother — always in the kitchen, always cleaning.
But... have you *ever* taken the burden off her shoulders for even one day?
You say you don’t want her life — but you don’t even let her live it in peace.
If you don't wanna be like her, at least start looking after *yourself*.
Don’t ask her what’s for dinner.
Don’t ask her where your shoes are.
Don’t stand in judgment and then stand in queue for the food she cooked.
*And now let me tell you my story.*
I *hated* cooking.
I was always mocked for not cooking at a young age.
But guess what? My mom and grandma never even asked me to help — they just wanted me to study.
I grew up hearing taunts from relatives that made me *fear* cooking. By the time I got married, it felt like a full-blown phobia.
I remember once, my mom had to leave urgently to the hospital, and she asked me to look after the *varavu* on the stove.
By the time she returned — I was shaking, sweating, swaying like a leaf in a storm.
After marriage, I couldn’t even make a curry without watching 100 YouTube videos, cross-checking the spice levels like a CIA operation.
One dish = three hours = panic attack.
Then came *COVID*.
We had to go to our native place.
Husband had to return back alone — no restaurants open.
Just bread.
And eggs.
For *months*.
When I saw him again, he had lost so much weight.
He was tired.
And I was *shaken*.
That day, I begged Allah to make me strong enough to feed him.
I said, *“Ya Allah, I want to cook for him, take care of him — not because I love cooking, but because I love You.”*
From that moment on, I never looked back.
I returned home and cooked — no panic, no hand shivering, no Google, no YouTube chef, not even a recipe.
I just... *cooked*.
Like magic. No — like *mercy*.
That’s when I realized:
Sometimes, *Allah restricts something* in your life so that you finally see the *blessing* in it.
You keep saying *“I don’t like cooking”*,
Until you see someone you love go hungry.
Until you realize it’s not about loving the task —
It’s about loving the *reward*.
I still don’t *like* cooking.
But I love taking care of my family for the sake of Allah.
And that makes every meal — even burnt ones — beautiful.
As Allah says in the Qur’an:
And the Prophet ﷺ said:
So yes — even the onions you chop are charity.
Even your cleaning is worship.
Even your cooking is *ibadah* — if you do it for Allah.
You don't need to *love* the task.
You need to *love* the One you’re doing it for.
So, dear sister...
If your feminism is too fragile to handle a ladle,
You might want to re-evaluate which "freedom" you’re fighting for.
Because real queens?
They cook. They clean.
And they do it for the sake of *Jannah*.

Islam doesn’t deny us the joys of this world; it elevates them by placing them within a framework of wisdom and balance.
Every command from Allaah ﷻ stems from His mercy and wisdom, not from a desire to burden us. His knowledge is complete, while ours is limited. What may feel hard at first is often the very thing that protects us — emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially.

🌙 THE MONTH OF ALLAAH - Al MUHARRAM 🌙
PART 1️⃣
➡️ Introduction about the Month of Muharram.
🎓 Shaykh Salih al Fawzan
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
O people! Fear Allaah (The Most High) and thank Him for the apparent and unapparent blessings He has bestowed upon you. He has not ceased granting you occasions of good and virtue. The month of hajj has elapsed and now you have reached the month of Al-Muharram, which Allaah has specially chosen.
Firstly: Muharram is amongst those months in which Allaah made fighting forbidden.
Allaah (The Most High) said:
(إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْراً فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ)
‘’ Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred.’’ [9:36]
These four months are: Dhul Qida, Dhul Hijja, the Month of Muharram and Rajab—Allaah made fighting forbidden during these months in order that those who performed the Hajj and Umrah are safe in their journey to Hajj and Umrah. However, when Islaam came—all praise is due to Allaah—safety became widespread and the disbelievers were driven away and Jihaad in the path of Allaah (The Might and Majestic) was established whenever that was possible.
