Join CyberSafe: Digital Security & Awareness Program, a two-day event designed to boost your digital safety skills and empower you as a responsible digital leader.

This interactive experience will bring together 30 English-speaking university students in Tashkent, Uzbekistan to learn, collaborate, and compete while gaining practical cybersecurity competencies. 

🔐 What you’ll gain:

• Recognizing and alleviating cyber risks 
• Utilizing real-world case studies to exemplify significant threats and defensive strategies
• Participating in team-based case studies and cybersecurity competitions

🎯 Eligibility:

• University students currently residing in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (participants can be from other regions of Uzbekistan). This includes university students of any nationality from Central Asian countries and Afghanistan.

• Must be fluent in English and have a strong interest in digital security

⚠️ NOTE: Travel and accommodation will NOT be provided. Selected participants must cover their own expenses. Participants must either reside in Tashkent or arrange their own transportation to Tashkent from other regions of Uzbekistan.

🇺🇸On Sunday, September 7, the United States concluded a deportation flight to Uzbekistan, returning 39 Uzbekistani nationals who do not have legal authorization to remain in the United States. This flight is the latest in a series of ongoing actions as the United States secures its borders.

The United States is committed to ending illegal immigration and protecting our nation’s borders and our citizens. Those who enter the United States illegally will face jail time and deportation. The United States reaffirms its deep appreciation to the Government of Uzbekistan for its close cooperation in facilitating U.S. deportation operations.
