We are currently facing a challenging situation that requires careful navigation to ensure a brighter future while minimising any negative impacts on our community.
After extensive discussions and debates within our core team, and most importantly, listening to your valuable feedback, we are ready to update the tokenomics of the project.
We are introducing two key measures that we believe will be welcomed by you:
1️⃣ Token Burn 🔥
We will burn 100M tokens in one go to re-adjust the supply to a level similar to that of UBXN.
Additionally $MBXN will continue to be burnt with the same mechanics as before from performance fees.
2️⃣ Token Lock 🔒
We will lock a significant percentage of tokens to demonstrate our long-term commitment to the project and provide more confidence to the market. This will further restrict the circulating supply so that it grows alongside monthly active users on our platforms.
Smart contracts are being created to lock up tokens as follows:
🔐 Future Incentives or Airdrops (10%):
18-month lock with 2.5% released after 6, 9, 12 and 18 months.
🔓 Liquidity for Exchanges (15%):
No locks, as this would be detrimental to the growth and liquidity of $MBXN.
🔐 Founding Team (5%):
4% locked, with 2% released after 2.5 years and 2% after 5 years.
