This video of a train expedition in Vauxhall, London, during the 1960s, is an incredibly warm watch.

The old age tradition of Cornish wrestling dates back before the Roman invasion (43 AD). There was even a banner depicting wrestlers carried by the Cornish contingent at the Battle of Agincourt (1415). In 1520, Cornish wrestlers faced and defeated French champions at the Field of the Cloth of Gold. Tradition is more important to keep than the many new fangled ideas replacing it.

An incredibly pleasant advert for Courage Best. Back when British advertising still had a touch of class. 🍻

Elderly people from East London in the 1960s discuss their get-togethers at the local club. This video is so touching and sweet that I struggle to watch it. These lost generations were simultaneously the softest and strongest people on earth. ⏳️💔

It's only when you leave London and enter a serene and safe environment that one realises how the many defence mechanisms and anxieties you've subconsciously developed make you feel like a nuisance or burden to all of the places that one should be most comfortable.
