Following a historic meeting held in Pretoria under the leadership of President Cyril Ramaphosa, attended by official representatives from all 54 African states, a unified agreement was reached regarding the full digital transformation of Africa’s economy and the creation of a modern financial infrastructure built upon blockchain technology.

Africa is entering a new era of economic and technological sovereignty, in which every nation will launch its own national digital currency, backed by its internal resources and transparent financial systems.

At the same time, all participating countries have recognized the necessity of a central unifying currency — one that will ensure seamless interoperability and digital trade across the continent.

That currency is AFRIGOLD.

AFRIGOLD will serve as the main token of Africa, allowing citizens, investors, and institutions to purchase and trade all African national currencies within a common, secure, and decentralized ecosystem, backed by real value: gold, diamonds, oil, copper, uranium, and renewable energy.

💥 Starting January 1st, 2026, all national digital currencies of the 54 African states will be launched simultaneously.
Holders of the AFRIGOLD token will gain early access and the ability to purchase these national currencies at a 90% discount, prior to public listing.

This marks the zero hour of Africa’s digital economy, opening the path toward unity, prosperity, and genuine financial independence for the entire continent.

Through the continental agreement signed in Pretoria, each African nation will allocate part of its official gold reserves to support the launch of its national digital currency.
These reserves will be consolidated into a Continental AFRIGOLD Stability Fund, guaranteeing full backing and transparency for all digital transactions.
