In the last major move, BTC fell sharply from $116K to $104K, bringing the whole market into a deep correction. TOTAL3 (the total altcoin cap) dropped by –39%, one of the hardest sell-offs since mid-year.

The reason?

Psychological shakeout 🧠
It was not just a price move; it was a psychological shakeout.
Leverage reached extremes, liquidity stacked under $110K, and market makers used it to clean overexposed positions.
They didn’t crash BTC by –35% or –75% as in past cycles; they only needed –10% this time to liquidate most overleveraged traders.

That’s how SMC (Smart Money Control) plays the game: not by price, but by emotion.

Trump’s Statement & Key Levels ✍️
Politicians, especially Trump, often make statements that come exactly when markets hover near key levels.
These statements can create sudden bursts of volatility because many traders are waiting at those zones.
So when Trump speaks and the price is already near resistance or support, it magnifies reactions.
We must treat such events as potential catalysts, not causes, and always filter them through our own plans.

We entered this phase with 45% allocation, and the drawdown hit –35% to –40% of that exposure, cutting nearly half.
Still, we kept 55% FIAT reserve ready for Plan A levels ($105K–$95K).
