Let the Zines begin! Am Samstag, 02.09., geht das CakesnZines Festival in die zweite Runde. Von 13-21 Uhr gibt es, in der Zwille (Fasanenstr. 1a,10626 Berlin) und Umgebung Zines, Workshops und viel Platz für kreatives Schaffen. Das Festival ist selbst-organisiert und unkommerziell.
Du bist selbst Zine schaffend und möchtest dich und deine Kunst auf dem Festival präsentieren (und/oder verkaufen, auch gerne gegen Spende)? Schreibe uns bis zum 07.08. per E-Mail ([email protected]) - am besten mit einer kleinen Kostprobe deiner Kunst. Wir möchten besonders marginalisierten Kunstschaffenden einen Raum bieten. Damit in queefeministischen Kontexten Personen und Perspektiven Platz einnehmen können, die oft strukturell oder/und implizit ausgeschlossen und nicht mitgedacht werden, legen wir einen Fokus auf TINFLA*, BIPOC und/oder be_hinderte Perspektiven.
Uns ist es wichtig, dass deine Inhalte politisch sind und sich um Themen rund um Queerfeminismus, Antidiskriminierung und weitere linke Kontexte drehen. Außerdem würden wir uns freuen, wenn Kollektive sich bewerben oder du als Künstler*in dir vorstellen könntest den Stand zu teilen, damit so viele Personen wie möglich dabei sein können. Es wird auch wieder betreute Open Tables geben, falls du keinen eigenen Stand machen möchtest, aber trotzdem deine Zines präsentieren möchtest.
Ob du dabei sein kannst schreiben wir dir bis zum 10. August!

Let the Zines begin! On Saturday, 02.09. the CakesnZines Festival goes into a second round. From 13-21h there will be zines, workshops and all kinds of creative activity in and around the Zwille (Fasanenstr. 1a,10626 Berlin). The festival is self-organized and non-commercial.
You are a zine creator yourself and want to present yourself and your art at the festival (and/or sell it, also for a small donation)? Email us until August 7th ([email protected]) - preferably with a small sample of your art.
We would like for this to be a space especially for marginalized artists. We are aware that in many queerfeminist contexts, a lot of people and perspectives are often structurally, directly and/or implicitly excluded and erased, so we would like to focus on TINFLA*, BIPOC and/or differently abled perspectives. It is important to us that your content is political and revolves around issues of queer feminism, anti-discrimination, and other leftist themes.
Furthermore, we would be happy if collectives apply or if you as an artist could imagine sharing a table so that as many people as possible can showcase their art.
There will also be the opportunity to make use of open tables if you don't want to have your own entire table, but still want to present your zines.
We will let you know by August 10 about our decision!

Heute morgen gab es einen Angriff und Teilräumung der Besetzten Häuser in der Haabersathstr 40-48.
Das wollen wir nicht unbeantwortet lassen und rufen deshalb zur Demo heute um 8 Uhr vor der Haabersathstr. 46 auf!!
Zwischen 9 und 10 Uhr morgens verschafften sich Security’s eines privaten Sicherheitsdienstes Zugang zu den besetzten Häuser in der Haabersathstr und drangen in Wohnungen ein.
Sie entwendeten Türen, Fenster und tauschten Schlösser aus. Außerdem wurden Strom und Wasser abgestellt.
Menschen wurden aus ihren Wohnungen geräumt und haben Zettel ausgehändigt gekriegt auf denen sie aufgefordert wurden ihr zuhause innerhalb der nächsten Stunde zu verlassen.
Die Secus sind mittlerweile abgezogen aber die Häuser sind akut räumungsbedroht.
Die Bullen setzten dem rechtswidrigen Angriff nichts entgegen sondern schauten einfach zu, bis die Secus abzogen.
Die Haabersathstr. 44-48 ist ein seit 2 Jahren bestehendes Wohnprojekt, welches Wohnraum für 150 Wohnungslosen und Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine bietet.
Aus Profitgründen des Eigentümers der Arcadia Estate GmbH sollen die Häuser 40-48 abgerissen werden.
Wir lassen das nicht unbeantwortet und gehen deshalb heute auf die Straße!
Kommt um 8 Uhr vor die Haabersathstr. 46!
