Last few weeks in the UK

All praise is due to Allah, may His peace and blessings be upon the Prophet, his family and Companions.

Over the last few weeks, by the bounty of Allah, I managed to visit several marākiz and cities at the invite of the Salafi communities and the students of knowledge — may Allah reward them for hosting me.

Communities of Salafis are thriving and growing across the UK, and every event and venue was filled with listeners eager to learn about the Religion, Sunnah and Salafiyyah.

It is heartwarming to see large numbers of people accepting and following the Salafi da’wah. All of this from the grace and bounty of Allah (the Most High).

A few weeks ago, we visited Markaz as-Sunnah, and sat with the noble Shaikh Abdul-Khaliq Mādī (Allah preserve him), and attended his very beneficial lesson at the Markaz.

A week or so afterwards the brothers invited me to deliver lectures across London: Masjid as-Sunnah in Cranford, Markaz as-Sunnah in Alperton and in Tower Hamlets.

The following week, we visited (for duroos) the brothers of the Markaz in Leicester, then Masjid Ibn Seereen in Bristol followed by Masjid and Markaz at-Tawheed in Cardiff.

And just this last weekend, we gathered and delivered duroos in Manchester Markaz as-Salafi and Masjid Abī Hurairah in Stoke-on-Trent — and all praise and thanks is to Allah, first and foremost, and thereafter, I thank my brothers and sisters in these centres for organising these gatherings of knowledge, brotherhood and unity for Allah’s sake.

This da’wah is for Allah’s sake, and it is due to His aid and blessings upon us that the da’wah continues to grow from strength to strength in the UK. May Allah pardon our shortcomings.

Addition: On the 28th of June, we attended the lectures organised by our noble brothers at Masjid as-Sunnah in Bradford—bookstore, markaz and masjid in the heart of Yorkshire whom we’ve known for 25 years. A packed audience of brothers and sisters—may Allah reward them.

Allāh have mercy on our Shaikh, the Imām, Al-‘Allāmah, Rabee’ Ibn Hādī Al-Madkhali who passed away today, Wednesday 14th Muharram 1447. His Janāzah will be performed after Fajr on Thursday at the Prophet’s Masjid in Madinah, inshā’-Allāh.

Shaikh Ibn ʿUthaimīn was asked about Shaikh Rabeeʿ Al-Madkhalī.

So, he responded:

“It is clear that this question does not require my answer just as Imām Ahmad (Ibn Hanbal) was asked about Ishāq Ibn Rāhawaih (d. 238 H), so he replied, ‘Someone like me is asked about Ishāq?! Instead, Ishāq is to be asked about me.’ At the beginning of my speech, I spoke about Shaikh Rabeeʿ, may Allāh grant him success, and what I mentioned has never ceased to be what I hold about him in my soul until this time––his arrival here and his words that have reached me––no doubt, they are such that they increase a person in his love for him, and supplication for him.”

Our, Shaikh, the ʿAllāmah, Rabeeʿ Ibn Hādī Al-Madkhalī (may Allāh preserve him) said in some powerful words:

"The Salafis in the east of the world and its west, the Arabs and non-Arabs—all of them are as if they are one family.

The Indian [Salafi] is united with the Saudi, with the Yemeni, and so on, with all races and all nations. They are as brothers as if nurtured at the hands of one scholar—upon one manhaj, one ʿaqeedah…
