We already use email scheduling a lot, but it’s awesome to see Telegram bringing this feature for messages as well. As you saw above, you can schedule a message just by pressing and holding the “send” button. Here, choose “Schedule message” and pick the date and time. The message will be sent at your preferred time. These new monetization methods include ads on public one-to-many channels (which function like Twitter feeds), premium features for business teams and power users, and paid sticker packs. Some of these funds will go back to users in the form of enhanced visibility for channels or payments to creators of unique sticker packs. To upload new profile images, open Settings. A further privacy blunder is that Telegram notifies your contacts when you join it — unless you don’t give it permission to access your contacts. Now, select “Also delete for X” and tap on “Delete”. The message will disappear from both ends without leaving any trace.

On the same page, Telegram also lists one of its two tenets of internet privacy as “protecting your personal data from third parties, such as marketers, advertisers, etc.” That puts it in stark contrast to a myriad of services from Facebook, Google, Amazon, and others. Telegram is a great all-around messenger, especially when you start using its best features and know everything it's capable of.
