🔰Among the causes of having worries disappear and sins forgiven is sending ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon the Prophet ﷺ, and the effect of sending ṣalāh upon him on Friday is greatest.
💠Ubayy ibn Kaʻb, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
🔰"O Messenger of Allah, I frequently invoke the blessings of Allah upon you. How much of my supplications should I devote to you?"
💢He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said, "Whatever you wish." I said, "A quarter?" He said, "Whatever you wish, and if you do more, it is better for you." I said, "One half?" He said, "Whatever you wish, and if you do more, it is better for you." I said, "Two thirds?" He said, "Whatever you wish, and if you do more, it is better for you." I said, "Shall I devote all my supplication to (invoking blessings upon) you?"
💥He said, "Then, you will be freed from your worry and your sin will be forgiven."
[At-Tirmithi: good-authentic; Al-Haakim in Al-Mustadrak]
💠Anas bin Maalik (radhi Allaahu anhu) said: Verily the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said:
💥Whoever sends Salah upon me once Allah will send ten (blessings) upon him and remove ten of his sins and raise his rank by ten levels.
[Imam Ahmad in his Musnad, Imam Bukharee in Adabul Mufrad #642 and #643. Jami Sagheer #6359 authenticated by Al Abaanee]
💠“Truly Allah and His angels say Salah on the Prophet, O you believers, recite Salah on him and send Salam on him completely.” [Al-Ahzab | C.33: A.56]
💠 Ibn Abbas (Rady'Allahu anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said,
‼️"Whoever forgets to send blessings upon me, he has missed a path to Paradise."

⁉️Where can we find such ghīrah today?
🛡"HER FACE WILL NOT BE UNVEILED!"
💠The great Imām, al-Khatīb al-Baghdādī رحمه الله mentioned a beautiful incident in his book narrated on the authority of Muhammad Ibn Mūsā al-Qādī:
حضرت مجلس موسى بن إسحاق القاضي بالري سنة ست وثمانين ومائتين وتقدمت امرأة فادعى وليها على زوجها خمسمائة دينار مهرا
🔰I was present in the gathering of Mūsā Ibn Ishāq; the judge of al-Rayy in the year 286H. A woman came to him and her legal guardian (walī) claimed that her husband owed her 500 Dinār in Dowry.
فأنكر فقال القاضي شهودك
‼️He (the husband) denied (the accusation). So the judge said to him: "Bring your witnesses."
قال قد أحضرتهم فاستدعى بعض الشهود أن ينظر إلى المرأة ليشير إليها في شهادته
💢He responded: "I brought them" so the judge then called out some of the witnesses to look at the woman to see if she is indeed his wife.
فقام الشاهد وقال للمرأة قومي فقال الزوج تفعلون ماذا
⁉️One of the witnesses stood up and said to the her: "Stand up" so the husband said: "What are you doing?"
قال الوكيل ينظرون إلى امرأتك وهي مسفرة لتصح عندهم معرفتها
🔰He (the judge) responded: "They are going to look at your wife while her face is unveiled to confirm her identity."
فقال الزوج وإني أشهد القاضي أن لها علي هذا المهر الذي تدعيه ولا تسفر عن وجهها
💠So the husband said: "I bear witness to the judge that I owe her the dowry that she is claiming, her face will not be unveiled!"
فردت المرأة وأخبرت بما كان من زوجها فقالت المرأة فإني أشهد القاضي أن قد وهبت له هذا المهر وابرأته منه في الدنيا والآخرة
💢The wife was informed of what her husband did so she said: "I bear witness to the judge that I have given the dowry to him as a gift, and I do not hold him accountable for it in this life and the hereafter."
فقال القاضي يكتب هذا في مكارم الأخلاق....
💥The judge commented: "Record this (incident) in (the books of) noble character."

🛡️Refuting the Misplaced Sympathy Towards Iran : A Sunni Perspective
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
🚫 Some contemporary individuals who claim to follow the Sunni path have begun advocating that we must side with those who appear to be oppressed, even if they follow a deviant creed; or are outright enemies of Islam, citing broad ethical principles such as “being on the side of the oppressed.” They use this as a pretext to show solidarity with regimes like the Iranian government (Wilayat al-Faqih), falsely portraying it as an “oppressed victim” of global powers. I wish to clarify, both from a theological and political lens, why this is deeply flawed and why Iran cannot be considered an "oppressed" entity, but rather a historic and current oppressor, especially against Ahl al-Sunnah wal jamah.
1️⃣ Islamically Loyalty Is Governed by ʿAqīdah and Justice Together
💠 Allah subhanahu wa taala says: "Indeed the believers are but brothers..." [Surah al-Hujurat 49:10]
💠"You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger..."[ Surah al-Mujadilah 58:22]
⚖️ While Islam enjoins justice and standing against oppression, it does not require Muslims to support oppressors under the guise of being “oppressed,” especially when those same people actively wage war against Islam and the People of the Sunnah. Allah subhanahu wa taala has commanded ‘adl (justice) but also wala’ and bara’ (loyalty and disavowal) based on īmān. We are not neutral between truth and falsehood.
💢Supporting a regime like Iran, simply because it may be under pressure from other world powers, while ignoring its own active crimes against Muslims, is a betrayal of the very oppressed they claim to defend, most of whom are Sunni Muslims.
2️⃣ Iran’s History of Aggression Toward Ahl al-Sunnah
♨️Iran’s track record in the modern era is not one of victimhood, but of expansionist oppression:
🔥 In Syria : Iran's IRGC and proxies like Hezbollah played a central role in the massacre of hundreds of thousands of Sunni Muslims and the displacement of millions. They propped up the Alawite regime of Bashar al-Assad, bombing masājid and targeting scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah.
🔥In Iraq : Post-2003 Iranian-backed militias committed sectarian cleansing, torture, and massacres against Sunnis. Cities like Fallujah, Tikrit, and Mosul suffered under sectarian militia brutality.
🔥 In Yemen : Iran-backed Houthis have desecrated mosques, oppressed the people of the Sunnah, and dragged Yemen into civil war.
🔥 In Ahwaz (South Iran): Iran systematically represses the Sunni Arab population, banning Sunni mosques, persecuting scholars, and silencing any call to Sunni Islam.
🔥In Lebanon : Hezbollah dominates the country and marginalizes Sunni voices through fear and coercion, serving the Iranian agenda rather than Islamic unity.
⁉️ Is this the behavior of an "oppressed" nation? Or that of an ideologically-driven expansionist regime with blood on its hands?
3️⃣Twisting the Concept of “Oppression” to Defend the Oppressor
♨️ Oppression (dhulm) in Islam is not defined merely by who faces sanctions or political pressure, it is defined by transgressing the limits of Allah subhanahu wa taala and harming others unjustly. If a tyrant faces consequences or resistance, it does not make them the mazlum (oppressed).
💠The Prophet ﷺ reported to have said: “Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed.” The companions asked, “We understand helping the oppressed, but how do we help the oppressor?” He ﷺ replied: “By stopping him from his oppression.” [Bukhari]
🙏By that standard, the only help Iran deserves from Muslims is to repent from its crimes and halt its tyranny, not to support or praise it.
4️⃣ The Dangerous Error of Equating Iran’s Opposition to the West as a Sign of Piety
💢 Many fall into a false dichotomy: "Since the USA or Israel oppose Iran, Iran must be righteous." This is emotional thinking and un-Islamic logic.

The truth is never determined by who opposes or supports someone, but by whether they uphold the commands of Allah subhanahu wa taala.
🛡️Firʿawn was opposed by other tyrants too, did that make him righteous? Likewise, Iran’s animosity with Israel or the West does not erase its clear-cut crimes against Muslims and its propagation of a false creed.
♨️Iran spreads the Rāfiḍī Twelver ideology that curses the Sahabah, excommunicates the mothers of the believers, and distorts Islamic history. How can we be asked to overlook that in favor of vague geopolitical sentiments?
5️⃣ The Principle of Prioritizing Loyalty to Truth Over Political Convenience
💠 The scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal jamah have always upheld the creed of al-walāʾ wa’l-barāʾ, loving for the sake of Allah and hating for His sake. While we should stand against injustice universally, our support must never go to those who actively undermine the foundations of Tawheed and Sunnah.
💢 Iran is not a victim. It is a powerful, militarized, ideologically-driven regime that has committed immense crimes against the Ummah, especially Ahl al-Sunnah. Supporting it, or being silent about its transgressions under the banner of “standing with the oppressed,” is a betrayal of truth and justice.
🍃We call upon those who fall into this trap to reconsider their stance and uphold justice holistically not selectively. Standing with the oppressed begins by standing with the Sunnis of Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Iran, and beyond the people of tawhid the real victims of Iranian oppression.
🔥“And do not incline towards the wrongdoers, lest you be touched by the Fire...” [Surah Hud 11:113]

🌷BE GENTLE IN SPEECH WITH PEOPLE🌷
‼️A man was with Yaḥya bin Muadh رحمه الله and recited in his presence the ayaah:
💠💥“And speak to him (Firawn) with gentle speech.” [Surah Ṭaḥa | C.20 - Ayah 44]
‼️Yaḥya began to weep. He then said:
‼️“My Lord, if this is Your mercy and gentleness with the one who says, ‘I am your God’ (i.e Fir'awn claimed lordship for himself), then how will it be with the one who says that
☝ You are God?
[تفسير البغوي ٢٧/١]
------------------
💠True da'wah and reform are not rooted in harshness but in compassion. If the worst of sinners was to be approached with gentleness, then we must embody even more kindness with those who are misguided yet sincere. This also demonstrates that our tone, not just our message, must reflect the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa taala.

[Sunan Ibn Mäjah 908]

💠FASTING AND MUHARRAM💠
❖❐ RasulAllah (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) taught us that the best month for voluntary fasting is the month of Muharram!
❐ It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (Rady'Allahu Anhu) said: The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) said:
❐ “The best fasting after Ramadaan is the month of Allaah Muharram, and the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is prayer at night.”
[Narrated by Muslim, 1163]
❐ The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) used to be very keen to make sure he fasted on the day of ‘Ashoora’ because of its great status.
❐ It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (Rady'Allahu Anhu) said: I never saw the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) so keen to make sure he fasted any day and preferring it over another except this day, the day of ‘Ashoora’, and this month – meaning Ramadaan.
[Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1867]
❐ Ibn ‘Abbaas (Rady'Allahu Anhu), who said: The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) came to Madeenah and saw the Jews fasting on the day of ‘Ashoora’.
❐ He said, “What is this?” They said, “This is a good day, this is the day when Allaah saved the Children of Israel from their enemy and Moosa fasted on this day.”
❐ He said, “We are closer to Moosa than you.” So he fasted on this day and told the people to fast.
[narrated by al-Bukhaari | 1865]
❐ According to another version narrated by al-Bukhaari, “So we fast it out of respect for it.”
❐ Minor sins are expiated by fasting on the day of ‘Ashoora’ with regard to major sins, they need separate repentance.
❐ Al-Nawawi (rahimahuAllah) said:
❐ Fasting the day of ‘Arafaah expiates for all minor sins, in othr words this brings forgiveness for all sins except for major sins.
❐ Then he said:
❐ Fasting the day of ‘Arafaah is an expiation for two years, and the day of ‘Ashoora is an expiation for one year, and if a person’s Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven… Each of the things mentioned may bring expiation.
❐ If he does something that expiates for minor sins he will be expiated, and if there are no minor or major sins, it will be recorded for him as good deeds and he will rise in status thereby… If there is one or more major sins and no minor sins, we hope that it will reduce his major sins.
[Al-Majmoo’ Sharh al-Muhadhdhab, part 6]
❐ Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (rahimahuAllah) said: The expiation of purification, prayer, and fasting Ramadaan, ‘Arafah and ‘Ashoora’ applies to minor sins only.
[Al-Fataawa al-Kubra, part 5]
❐ So fast on the month of Muharram, If you are unable to fast, you can still partake in this opportunity of gaining reward by spreading the word.
❐ In shaa Allah Perhaps someone one will fast because of your message.
❐ “Whoever points to something good will have the same reward as the one who does it.”
[Reported by Muslim]
