BEACON ALERT: MISSING VETERAN
Police Scotland Midlothian are appealing for the help of the public in tracing Daren Showler, a 44-year-old man reported missing from Gorebridge.
He was last seen around 1.30pm on Sunday, 9 March, in the Barleyknowe Crescent area of the village.
He is described as white, around 5ft 8in, with dark blonde curly hair. When last seen he was dressed all in black with a blue Northface hat, white headphones and black trainers. He was accompanied by a black French bulldog wearing a black harness with reflective straps and a flashing light attached.
Darren is believed to be in the Midlothian or Edinburgh area.
Inspector Allan Bath said: "Concerns are growing for Darren's welfare and we need to make sure he is safe and well.
"We would urge anyone who has seen Darren or knows where he might be to get in touch."

Lee Boocock, 36, is missing with serious concerns for his welfare. He was last seen at James Cook Hospital Middlesborough where he had an appointment on Thursday (13/03), his phone is switched off and he has missed arrangements with his family.

BEACON ALERT: MISSING VETERAN
Russel Brookes, 42, is missing with very serious and immediate concerns for his welfare. He left St Helens on Saturday 15/03 at 11:00 in a white MG3, registration ending UMB. The car was spotted over weekend via ANPR in Trough of Bowland Forrest, Bowland area.
He may have a tent with him. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should inform Merseyside Police quoting ref: MP-20250318-0488.
Areas frequently visited by him are Colne, Blackburn, Burnley, Clitheroe and surrounding areas.

Jonathan, who went missing overnight in Wales, has been found and confirmed safe by South Wales Police Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

There are serious concerns for a missing 90 year old male, last seen at St James Hospital, Leeds.

John Parker, 5ft 7, wearing a purple bodywarmer with a green bank across shoulders, grey trousers and dark shoes, was last seen carrying a shopping bag and a walking stick.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call West Yorkshire Police quoting log 2027 04-04.

There are growing concerns for Graham Johnston, 54, last seen around 3.30pm on Monday, April 7, in North Street, Bo’ness.

He was last seen wearing a grey jacket with a hood, jeans, grey t-shirt and a flat cap.

HELP NEEDED - MISSING VETERAN THAILAND

Are you in, or do you have contacts in Bangkok?

Richard Catterall is missing in Thailand. He landed there on Sunday (06/04) morning, alone. He has been uncontactable since. His family have spoken to his hotel who confirmed he checked in on Sunday. On Tuesday and they confirmed he had checked out two days early due to losing his phone and was headed for the airport.
Airport police confirmed he didn’t make it to an airport and hadn’t boarded a flight. A boarding check has been completed by the UK police and he hasn’t left Bangkok by plane.

His family are naturally very concerned. If you are able to offer any support at all, you'll find their details in the attached post. If you know anything about his location or wellbeing, please contact Merseyside Police ref: 0409226.
