Christopher David Boehm, to discuss recent political developments in Iraq and the wider region, in addition to the state of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ottawa. We emphasized the importance of strengthening and diversifying these ties in a manner that advances the mutual interests of both nations.
We reaffirmed our rejection of the israeli assaults on the Islamic Republic of Iran and urged the international community to take responsibility in curbing such escalations and preventing the region—and the world—from being drawn into broader conflicts.
We also highlighted the significance of the upcoming elections, describing them as both pivotal and defining. We called for broad, active, and informed participation, while underscoring the need for electoral competition to focus on policy platforms rather than divisive rhetoric.

During our meeting with a delegation from the Board of Trustees of the Media and Communications Commission, we were briefed on the Council’s operations and its core responsibilities. We emphasized the need for cohesive and collaborative performance among media institutions.
We also highlighted the importance of automating service delivery, encouraged the diversification of telecommunications services, and called for improvements in their quality. Additionally, we stressed the necessity of addressing divisive or sectarian rhetoric.
We further discussed the urgency of confronting smear campaigns targeting parliamentary candidates, noting that regulating the conduct of electoral campaigns is a key element of ensuring a transparent and credible electoral process. We placed responsibility on the relevant institutions to monitor, respond to, and address to any challenges.

We underscored the urgent need to halt these violations and highlighted the importance of maintaining regional stability and protecting the interests of its peoples.
We also stressed the need for a unified Islamic response to the current regional challenges, noting that Iran has come under assault despite its active engagement in negotiations, its demonstrated flexibility, and its constructive proposals. We warned against the growing urge to use force as a means to resolve crises.

The Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf al-Ashraf reaffirms its strong condemnation of the continued military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as any threats targeting its highest religious and political leadership. It warns that such a criminal act, aside from its clear violation of religious and moral values and its blatant breach of international norms and laws, could lead to extremely dangerous consequences for the entire region. It may result in a complete breakdown of order and widespread chaos, further deepening the suffering of its people and severely damaging the interests of all involved.
Accordingly, we urge all influential international actors and nations, particularly Islamic countries, to make every possible effort to end this unjust war and work toward a just and peaceful resolution to the Iranian nuclear issue in accordance with international law.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ كَلَّفتَنِي مِن نَفسِي مَا أَنتَ أَملَكُ بِهِ مِنِّي، وقُدرَتُكَ عَلَيهِ وعَلَيَّ أَغلَبُ مِن قُدرَتِي، فَأَعطِنِي مِن نَفسِي مَا يُرضِيكَ عَنِّي، وخُذ لِنَفسِكَ رِضَاهَا مِن نَفسِي فِي عَافِيَةٍ.اللَّهُمَّ لَا طَاقَةَ لِي بِالجَهدِ، ولَا صَبرَ لِي عَلَى البَلَاءِ، ولَا قُوَّةَ لِي عَلَى الفَقرِ، فَلَا تَحظُر عَلَيَّ رِزقِي، ولَا تَكِلنِي إِلَى خَلقِكَ، بَل تَفَرَّد بِحَاجَتِي، وتَوَلَّ كِفَايَتِي وانظُر إِلَيَّ وانظُر لِي فِي جَمِيعِ أُمُورِي، فَإِنَّكَ إِن وَكَلتَنِي إِلَى نَفسِي عَجَزتُ عَنهَا ولَم أُقِم مَا فِيهِ مَصلَحَتُهَا، وإِن وَكَلتَنِي إِلَى خَلقِكَ تَجَهَّمُونِي، وإِن أَلجَأتَنِي إِلَى قَرَابَتِي حَرَمُونِي، وإِن أَعطَوا أَعطَوا قَلِيلًا نَكِداً، ومَنُّوا عَلَيَّ طَوِيلًا، وذَمُّوا كَثِيراً.فَبِفَضلِكَ اللَّهُمَّ فَأَغنِنِي، وبِعَظَمَتِكَ فَانعَشنِي، وبِسَعَتِكَ فَابسُط يَدِي، وبِمَا عِندَكَ فَاكفِنِي.
