I am confident about your abilities and decision making power. But this time, we become so vulnerable that sometimes we get carried away by external voices and the inner voice gets suppressed(being overpowered by emotions). Yet i'll remind you again, you have got your life, it's ultimately you who has all the authorities to decide what you want to do with it. Winning and lossing are two sides of the coin. Even if we beleive in luck, not always one side will be there..definately the coin have to turn other way round if not this time then probably next. Ultimately, we are playing on probability only. We had the idea of the above probabilities earlier as well right ? So, why fear of uncertainity now ? This exam is highly technical and competitive, so attaching emotions here is of no use. I had learned this over 6 years. Never forget to talk to yourself and reach your inner self before asking for help from the outside world.

Value the things you have rather than just crying for which you don't have.

We suffer more when we focus more on the things which we do not have... instead appreciate the things, values, relations and people you have around you.

Just crying for the things that you do not have and getting depressed over them is a big insult of whatever provided by God for your own goodness.

There are many people who are in much worse condition than you yet they choose to fight and do well and they really do well... we have no. of examples about such people.

So stop complaining about the things you don't have.. because it seems an excuse... instead make the best utilization of you have and value it.

Think wisely nd practically.

Good morning everyone. Lot of people who are scoring in border range, unable to clear prelims. In recent days difference between coaching keys and official UPSC key is varying too much because of various reasons. Average variation is 10-12 questions. 10*2.67 =26.7 and same in CSAT. So, people who are scoring 90 as per coaching keys might end up scoring 90-26.7 =63.3 in reality and vice versa.

Of course few decisions of UPSC are controversial and it is affecting border range students adversely. But, in recent times I have noticed a very dangerous and alarming trend.

Rather than calming students and guiding them better, few coachings and YouTube channels started to enrage students emotions in the name of SCAM and INJUSTICE. And, these are mostly small coachings or a YouTube star faculty.

It is just to gain view, watch hours, likes and shares. Nothing else. Few weeks back many keyboard and YouTube warriors did live regarding key mistakes and gathered millions of views. They farmed your emotions and feelings to get views. And, none of them took any concrete step - Filing writ petition or giving solid representation to UPSC.

And, they are doing the same now. Enrage emotions => gather views and watch time, get some popularity => wait for another emotional moment to cash in.

Unfortunately, in this process image of a constitutional institution is getting tarnished. Of course reforms in UPSC are needed and its an ever going process. But, UPSC is one of the honest and efficient constitutional bodies in the world.

I request students and friends to not to be manipulated by various YouTubers and institutions. We shouldn't be committing external attribution error.

We will work hard,
work hard in a better way,
And, We will crack it 😊

Learning to live with yourself

As we float and swim across life, we often face heartbreaks, failures, rejections from and regrets about people and circumstances . And to avoid the pain caused by these discomforts, we look for escapes in people and things in the form of friendships, relationships and addictions. Surely, they provide us momentary escape but for how long until we are again faced with that unnerving pain buried in our chests.

William Shakespeare said-
"to thine own self be true"

In the calm or chaos surrounding us, when we quieten the clamour within, we are faced with only a singular distilled truth -
You are only there for yourself, only YOU.

You need to learn to live with yourself first before anyone else does.

You need to love yourself first before any other does.

You need to choose yourself first before anyone else does.

You need to drink the poison of that pain to taste the nectar that awaits you in life.

You need to pull yourself from the dark crevices of the soul to see that tiny flicker of light to ignite it .

Because if you don't do it for yourself no one else would ...YOU ARE ESSENTIALLY ALONE AND WILL ALWAYS WILL BE IN THIS HOME CALLED THE BODY. SO LEARN TO LIVE IN IT ALONE FIRST.

Family imparts orthodoxy at times. They start to question your luck and in that context start looking for various astrologers who can predict in which direction your career will move ahead. No doubt stars should align for a person to succeed. But, how can we neglect our hard work & just beleieve in such superstitions ? If this so, then we should really question our hard work done in last 3-4 years in this UPSC journey which is supposed to inculcate rationality in an aspirant. Karma that we does makes or breaks our Bhagya, then why should we believe in such orthodoxy? Instead we should believe in God as delaying does not means denied.
Moral of the story is : have faith in God and keep working everyday on improving yourself rather than running behind future prediction.

A man is borned twice in his life; once on his birthday and second on the day he realizes the purpose of his very existence. Life is not about reaching a destination but the journey one goes through. The destination is the same for all of us but what matters is how has one lived up his journey in order to reach that destination.
With time passing, the human race is becoming more and more ambitious but less ethical. Ambitions should always be high on one hand but with ethics to serve the mankind on another, can only add meaning to the tasks done by us on any platform provided to us.
