IELTS O‘zbekistonda ommalashgach, minglab yoshlar xalqaro grantlar yutdi, chet elda o‘qish imkoniga ega bo‘ldi, ta’lim sifati oshdi, yangi o‘quv markazlar ochildi. Bu — halol mehnat va islohotlar natijasi.
Ammo bu yutuqlar xavf ostida. So‘nggi paytlarda test materiallarining noqonuniy savdosi avj oldi. Bu faqat qonunbuzarlik emas — bu halollik, ta’lim tizimi va kelajak orzulariga xiyonatdir.
Bu videoda:
✔️ IELTS qanday imkoniyatlar ochdi
✔️ Nima uchun hozir xavf bor
✔️ Va biz birgalikda nima qila olamiz – shular haqida so‘z boradi.
📢 #NoCheating – Halol yo‘l bilan erishilgan yutuqlarni himoya qilaylik.

🔖 Describe a shop you often visit
🗣One shop I visit quite often is a big department store in the downtown area of my city. It’s not far from where I live, so it’s really convenient. I usually go there once a week to do my grocery shopping and pick up other household items.
The store has a bit of everything food, clothes, electronics, even stuff like shampoo and cleaning supplies, so it saves me time because I don’t have to visit different shops. What I like most is how organized everything is. There are big shopping carts near the entrance, which is super helpful when I’m buying a lot of things. The food section is well-stocked, and I usually get my weekly supply of fruits, vegetables, dairy, and snacks from there.
The staff are polite, and the checkout lines move pretty quickly, which is another plus. Sometimes I go there just to browse, even if I don’t need anything specific. It’s become a bit of a routine for me part of my weekly schedule. Overall, it’s a practical and reliable place that makes my life a bit easier.

The diagram illustrates the process of recycling plastic bottles.
Overall, the process involves three main stages: collecting and preparing used bottles, processing them into raw material, and finally manufacturing new products.
In the first stage, used plastic bottles are collected from street bins and transported to a recycling plant. There, they are sorted into usable and unusable items. Only the usable bottles are then compressed into large blocks, marking the end of the preparation stage.
The second stage begins when these blocks are fed through metal rollers to be crushed into small pieces. These fragments are subsequently washed and processed into plastic pellets. After being heated, the pellets are transformed into raw material.
In the final stage, this material is used to manufacture a wide range of products, including containers, clothing, and stationery items.

🔖 Describe a fashionable person
🗣A person I’d like to talk about who really has an eye for fashion is an old friend of mine with whom I studied in China. He used to be my roommate, we shared the same room and lived in the same dorm for about a year.
I genuinely admired his sense of style because he truly cared about his appearance. I believe this was mainly because he wanted to leave a positive impression on people. After all, first impressions are often made not by someone’s personality, but by the clothes they wear. My friend never hesitated to spend money on clothes. He regularly splashed out on the latest fashion brands.
What impressed me most was his strong sense of choosing the right outfit for the right occasion. He had a unique way of mixing different styles, combining casual with formal elements. For instance, in the evenings when he went to parties, he would wear a stylish suit. But during the day, he’d go for a more relaxed look usually a nice pair of sneakers that matched well with his T-shirt.
He also paid attention to the finer details by adding accessories to complete his outfits. He often wore bracelets and watches, and they were always carefully chosen to complement his look. The color, the leather, everything matched perfectly with what he wore.

The bar chart illustrates the number of international students studying in four English-speaking countries in 2004 and 2012. The accompanying table shows the proportion of overseas students relative to the total student population in each country.
Overall, all four countries experienced growth in the number of international students over the period, with the most significant increases seen in the USA and Australia. While the number of foreign students rose notably in the USA, their proportion within the total student body remained unchanged. Conversely, Australia had the highest proportion of overseas students in both years.
The USA hosted the largest number of international students in both 2004 and 2012, increasing from approximately 175,000 to 250,000. Despite this growth, the percentage of foreign students remained constant at 2%. Canada, in contrast, experienced a relatively modest rise in student numbers, from about 40,000 to 60,000. Yet its proportion increased from 5% to 7%.
Australia and the UK had comparable figures in terms of student numbers, with both receiving around 120,000 international students in 2004, rising to roughly 180,000 by 2012. However, Australia had a significantly higher percentage of overseas students, starting at 19% and rising to 24%, while the UK’s figures were substantially lower.

👨🏻💻 Now you can do authentic cambridge tests on a website. Kind of digitilazed version. Very much useful if you want to take a CDI exam. (Computer-delivered). Get yourself comfortable with such a format!

🔖 Describe a time when you received money as a gift
🗣Honestly, I don’t like it when someone gives me money as a gift because it shows how little creativity and imagination they have when it comes to choosing gifts for others. But yeah, there was a time when I received money as a gift, that was actually on my last birthday.
My relatives decided to pool some money together and give it to me. I’m also the kind of person who isn’t very picky when it comes to gifts, but someone who already has almost everything. So, my close ones and good friends often complain about how difficult it is to buy something for me. This time, they didn’t want to bother themselves too much, so they collected money and gave it to me instead. It was actually quite a large amount. Still, I wasn’t particularly surprised, because like I said, a gift should be something that really amazes you, something that drops your jaw. That wasn’t the case here.
But I was still grateful to them for the gift because it still meant something to me. One more thing is that they gave it in a plain white envelope, which made it feel even less creative. But again, I was thankful. I was able to use the money to cover some of my needs, and in that sense, it was quite practical. After all, it’s better to receive money than to get something useless that I’ll never use and will just collect dust on a shelf.

In recent years, many small local shops have closed because customers travel to large shopping centres or malls to do their shopping.
Do you think this is a positive
or negative development?
The closure of local shops has recently become more common due to the increasing popularity of large shopping malls. In my opinion, although the disappearance of small shops brings several advantages, it generally causes more harm than good.
Admittedly, there are some benefits to closing down local shops. Firstly, when customers are concentrated in large malls rather than dispersed across multiple locations, they are more likely to receive better service and higher-quality products. This is because it becomes easier for regulatory bodies to monitor fewer, centralized shops. Secondly, replacing numerous small outlets with large-scale shopping centres can accelerate urban development. For instance, in cities like Beijing, the construction of expansive malls has led to the development of road networks linking urban centres with outlying areas.
Nevertheless, the overall impact of such closures tends to be more detrimental. While centralized shops may be easier to regulate, consumers still bear the ultimate responsibility for checking product quality, such as expiration dates. On a community level, the disappearance of local shops undermines neighbourhood economies and reduces convenience for people who rely on them for daily necessities.
In conclusion, although shutting down local shops may simplify quality control and cause some urban improvements, the drawbacks particularly the loss of community convenience and local economic circulation are far more significant. Therefore, I believe the disadvantages of this trend outweigh its potential benefits.
