the tragedy

whenever I rewatche the anime I get kindda depressed and frustrated, especially whenever erwin appears I remember him dying just one step away from achieving his dream -_-

and also how mikasa had to kill eren and spend the rest of her life mourning and crying on his grave

like this really makes me upset, sad, and all the different kinds of negative emotions

does anyone relate to this? or am I the only one?

What jobs I think AOT characters would have

Erwin - It’s pretty obvious he’d be a history teacher, or he’d work in the FBI/be an investigator, or he’d try to get into politics and expose everyone.

Hange would have a PhD in bio and work for an Ivy League school, or would be a forensic scientist.

Levi— He would be the type to grind school like crazy—not because he loves it, but because he knows it’s the only ticket out. Straight A’s, probably skipped hanging out with kids his age, and worked side jobs. People would underestimate him at first (quiet, small, from a poor family), then be shocked when he’s at the top of the class. And he’d probably go to trade school.

Eren— At first, he’d be that student who trusts the system—believes if you just work hard and get into med school/law school, you can “fix” things. Then he takes a poli-sci elective or stumbles on some leaked gov doc online, and suddenly he’s like, “Wait… everything is a lie.” Next thing you know, he’s on Reddit dropping 10-paragraph posts about surveillance, corruption, and the healthcare system being rigged. Or since his dad and grandpa were doctors, he would become one. But then med school would crush him: insane debt, pharma corruption, and insurance companies deciding who lives or dies. He’d feel betrayed by the system he thought would heal people, and that betrayal would fuel his rage. I could totally see him walking out of med school with one dramatic speech like, “I won’t be part of this cage anymore,” but at the same time, I’d feel like he’d be a journalist.

Mikasa - Everyone is saying she’d be something in fitness. I don’t think so; I think that would be her hobby. I think she would do psychology/English or be a stay-at-home mom.

Armin—He’d definitely be an environmental scientist, maybe a diplomat, since he is one at the end; pilot is a stretch.

Sasha - She’d definitely do something in agriculture, maybe make her own agriculture business? or have a family farm and work there

Jean - He’d definitely be scared to take AP art, but Marco told him to, and Marco joined as well, and he got embarrassed by that, but he didn’t major in or get a job in art because he’s too realistic for that and knows they don’t pay well. I think he might have done something in business, like a BA, but art is his side job.

Connie - Honestly, idk. Something in business, maybe marketing?

Reiner—he’d be doing football because his other friends were doing it. and he’d get a job that would make his family proud, but he’d hate it secretly and regret it the rest of his life.

Berthcontrol—he’s definitely a 9-5 IT guy…

Annie—I feel like she’d also do a 9-5 working in corporate, and she wants to stay there and just answer emails and do meetings; she doesn’t want anything to disrupt her peaceful life.

Historia - 100% be a teacher or a stay-at-home mom

Ymir - I feel like she’d be working at Burlington or something as a manager at a retail store, and she wants to try to get out of her sad life, but she can’t because she got a degree in college that doesn’t make her money in the real world.

Floch—reddit kid, maybe a school shooter, jk, unemployed

Just watched Season 3 ep. 18

Couple of things. Levi was able to sneak up on Beast titan somehow(mans is crazy tho), has his sword literally in his mouth but doesnt kill him, mf gets away. Wtf

And They just don't wanna kill Reiner. Levi sticks his sword in his neck but ooooh he shifts his consciousness. Fuck is even that. Which happens again when they blow up the Armoured Titan's nape. Still alive. Then they finally get him after the whole thing, but again gets away, lucky mf.

The reason Why Levi Does things the way he does?

Levi’s actions click when you dig into his background. Watching those scenes again made me rethink his motivations beyond surface-level traits. His cleaning fixation gets joked about a lot. But growing up in literal sewage while his mother rotted away from illness changes things. That’s not a quirk. It’s control over the only thing he could manage in that hellhole.

Notice how he always positions himself facing exits. Eyes constantly moving like he’s expecting ambush. Survival instinct burned into him since childhood didn’t just fade because he joined the Scouts. Kenny ditching him probably etched trust issues deeper than titan scars.

Actually, I interviewed him and we talked about a lot of things like how underground life shaped him, he also talked about losing his comrades, how he views himself and more you can read the whole conversation here.

So, what are your thoughts about him? if you get a chance then what would you ask him and why?
