📩🔹Question:

What's the ruling of churches and temples of the Yahood and Nasaara, in Islam?

📤🔸Answer:

"The scholars unanimously agreed upon that it is forbidden to build places of worship of Disbelief, such as churches in Muslim countries, and that it is not permissible for two Qiblahs to meet in one Islamic country, and that there should not be any of the symbols of the disbelievers, not churches nor anything else. They unanimously agreed upon the obligation of demolishing churches and other places of worship of Disbelief if it was introduced in the land of Islam, it is not permissible to oppose the ruler regarding demolishing it, but rather it is obligatory to obey them.

And the scholars, may Allah the most high have mercy on them, unanimously agreed upon that building areas for worship of Disbelief, and from it is churches in the Arabian Peninsula, is more sinful and a greater crime, according to the authentic and clear hadiths on the prohibition of two religions coming together on the Arabian Peninsula. From it is the statement of the Prophet ﷺ: (Two religions should not meet in the Arabian Peninsula). Narrated by Imam Malik and others, and its origin is in the Two Sahihs.

The Arabian Peninsula is the Haram of Islam and its base, which it is not permissible to allow or give permission for any disbeliever to transgress upon, nor to assume its nationality, nor to own property in it, let alone establishing a church there for worshipers of the Cross, so no two religions should meet therein, except one religion, which is the religion of Islam, with which Allah sent His Prophet and Messenger Muhammad ﷺ and there should not be two Qiblahs in it, only one Qiblah, which is the Qiblah of the Muslims to the Ancient House. And all praise is to Allah, who guided the rulers of this country to repel these places of worship of Disbelief from these pure Islamic land". If she is a righteous woman then she’s the best enjoyment of the Dunya. In addition, the Prophet ﷺ married Khadija and she was older than him in age.

The questioner says:

I’ve been trialled with loving a woman that’s a doctor and I wish to marry her, bearing in mind I’m already married and I have a son.

However, she stipulated upon me to divorce my current wife as she believes she placed much deterioration upon her from sorcery practised by her and her family (only suspecting of course).

So what’s your advise Shaykh of ours, whilst knowing that my heart is attached to her, and the matter has started to affect the relationship with my wife.

May Allah reward you with good.

📩🔸Answer:

It’s not permissible for her to stipulate that, and if there’s nothing in your wife that warrants separating from her, then be content with her and keep your trust in Allah.

In addition, there’s no prevention in marrying another woman, however, do so without negatively affecting the structure of your first home.

It doesn't invalidate it.

Imam Ash-Shaafi'i, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: "I don't know any differing in that those that have performed Wudhu, if they were to leave it - i.e the Madhmadha and the Istinshaaq - intentionally or forgetfully, and prayed, they don't repeat". End of speech from Al-Umm (1/39).

📩🔹Question:

When is Hijrah obligatory upon a person that lives in a disbelieving country?

And is it permissible to save money first so that he doesn't get halted in his path?

📩🔸Answer:

Al-Hāfidh, Ibn Hajar, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“It’s not obligatory to make Hijrah from a country that’s been conquered by the Muslims.

As for before a country is conquered, then the Muslims that are in it surround three circumstances:

➖THE FIRST:

He's capable to migrate from it, and he’s unable to manifest his religion, or fulfil his obligatory duties. For this person Hijrah is obligatory.

➖THE SECOND:

He's capable to make Hijrah, however it’s also possible for him to manifest his religion and fulfil his obligatory duties. For this person it’s recommended (Mustahab) to increase the ranks of the Muslims in it, and supporting them, and to strive against the disbelievers, and to be secure from their treachery, and being relieved from witnessing their evils.

➖THE THIRD:

Those lacking ability whilst having (legislated) excuse; due to being imprisoned or sick, or other than it. It’s permissible for him to abide there, but if he had determination and strove to leave from there, he would be rewarded.

Minor treatments stand in the same bracket as spending of food, drink, clothing and place of abode (required upon the husband for his wife). As for major, then he’s not required and Allah knows best.

📩🔹Question:

Today, I was going to the Masjid and the neighbors were washing their house with water, but the water fell on the street, and in this street two days ago, sewage water overflowed and dried up.

While I was walking, a car came and splashed water on me, so I went to the Masjid and said to my self: " The water is pure, and the old impurity has dried up,” and I then acted upon the hadith of Ali that he used to walk in the rain and mud and then enter and pray, and the hadith about the gutter, and Umar saying, “Do not answer him, O owner of the gutter”.

Currently I feel some concern within myself. Is my action correct and my clothes pure or should I repeat the prayer?

📤🔸Answer:

In sha Allah it is pure, and you do not have to repeat it, because the impurity from the first water has dried up, and even if the new water revives it, there will be no trace of it.
