Update of Permissions Section in Groups
In Beta versions of Telegram for iOS and Android, there is a new feature that allows for more precise customization of permissions for sending media and disabling the ability to send text messages in group chats.
Under the "Sending Media" option, there are 6 new sub-options:
โข Sending Photos
โข Sending Videos
โข Sending Music
โข Sending Files
โข Sending Voice Messages
โข Sending Video Messages
The ability to turn off or on all sub-options with one "Sending Media" toggle has been retained.

The banner disappears after clicking on it and going to the information page.
Currently, it is not possible to purchase a one-year subscription, however, the presence of references to new pricing plans for personal accounts in the Beta version's source code suggests that they will be added to Telegram soon.

The updated version has:

โข A general tab with total traffic costs, including mobile data, Wi-Fi and roaming.
โข Detailed information on the number of sent and received media files
โข Quick access to settings for automatic saving of multimedia in separate traffic categories

Improved Avatar Quality
In upcoming Telegram update, users will have access to higher quality animated avatars. Telegram will use a new system for setting them up using an avatar builder.
How it was before:
Telegram for macOS generated videos from stickers and uploaded them as video avatars.
How it will be after the update:
The client will upload data with background and sticker which will be used for avatar.
Therefore, users receive a vector image of a better quality.
On the left side you can see an animated avatar generated by the app, on the right โ a vector avatar.

The beta version of Telegram for iOS and Android have been divided into several categories that are responsible for different feelings and emotions: love, approval, disapproval, support, laughter, and others.

The beta versions of Telegram for iOS and Android now have a button that allows you to translate all messages from a private conversation, group, or channel at once.
The button appears if the messages are written in a language other than the one selected in the settings.
Features of the bulk transfer function:
โข Translation of all messages is available in all types of chats.
โข The user can add the language of the channel or group to the exclusion list so that the Telegram client will no longer offer to translate messages from this language.
โข The user can choose the language into which all chat messages will be automatically translated. You can set a separate language for each chat.
The option is available only to users with a Telegram Premium.

In the Telegram X repository on GitHub, a proposal to increase the size of photos that are downloaded and uploaded appeared several days ago but was later rejected by the client's developer.
The reason for this decision is that this feature causes many problems, including:
- The full-screen gallery viewer begins to freeze when performing the opening, closing, or scrolling of photos animation.
- After sending high-resolution photos, the full-size photo is not displayed within the message, it is only visible in the full-screen viewer.
- When sending high-resolution images, even a blurred thumbnail inside the message may not be displayed.
