“Nationalistic ideas in China did not come from a foreign source; they were inherited from our remote forefathers. Upon this legacy is based my principle of nationalism, and where necessary, I have developed it and amplified and improved upon.”

Lacking discipline to reform themselves, intellectual “world improvers” constantly propose theories on how to govern society. All forms of social distinction, good manners, honour, authority, rank, are ceaselessly attacked and deconstructed.

Early Basque nationalism was strongly ethnic since it defined the Basque nation in terms of descent and ancestry...This created strict mechanisms of exclusion toward, for example, migrants from elsewhere in Spain who came to work in the Basque provinces.

"The situation of parliamentarism is critical today because the development of modern mass democracy has made argumentative public discussion an empty formality. Many norms of contemporary parliamentary law… function like a superfluous decoration—as though someone had painted the radiator of a modern central heating system with red flames to give the appearance of a blazing fire. The parties… do not face each other discussing opinions, but act as social or economic power groups calculating their interests.
The masses are won over through a propaganda apparatus appealing to immediate interests and passions. Argument in the real sense that is characteristic for genuine discussion ceases.""

The book “Estonia 1000” brings to the reader the reflections of the well-known clergyman, private soldier and sword master Einar Laigna on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia. anniversary.

“In the eyes of God, 1,000 years are as yesterday”, says the Holy Scripture, and Einar Laigna calls for a look at history sub specie aeternitatis - under the gaze of eternity.

Estonia is a tiny piece of land on the Baltic Sea, where a people that has lived for millennia has grown closer to its land in a special way. Our history, full of triumphs and defeats, has shaped our nation's special spirit, and fate has always set us hard.

"It is not fanaticism to tell the Syrians to return to their great psyche, to their truth, to remove from it the dust of what was stirred up by the enemies who were fanatical against it.

The world today, in its longing for the best, has returned to see that humanity has a cradle in which it grew, which is "Syria."

Dostoevsky sees in socialism a particular form of rebellion against God. This is why he, the former Siberian convict, does not side with the revolutionaries. His rejection of revolution is not essentially bourgeois; it is essentially Christian. He is an opponent of revolution because he loves freedom and God.

It is a gimmick to think that in a democratic society, writing history cannot serve political interests. Historians should be able to examine all the events that have taken place in history, to criticise the established conceptions of history and to put forward new theories. In democratic countries, freedom of research must be guaranteed in the same way as freedom of expression for thinkers, whether their research concerns the Punic Wars or the events of the Second World War. If, for whatever reason, the publication of research on a particular subject is restricted or even banned in a particular country, then we cannot speak of a democratic state in that country.

The term ‘Holocaust’ was introduced into the Estonian language only after Estonia regained its independence. Neither in the corresponding volume of the ‘Estonian Soviet Encyclopaedia’ (ENE) published in 1988 nor in the ‘Lexicon of Foreign Words’ published in 1979 can we find a single explanation of the Holocaust - there is simply no corresponding keyword. The word ‘holocaust’ is said to have been derived from the Greek word holokauteó, which loosely translates as ‘a full sacrifice in which everyone was burned without any priestly participation’. Today, the phrase ‘burnt offering’ is associated with the incineration in crematoria of the bodies of Jews allegedly gassed in the Nazi concentration camps.

Although Jews used the term “mass murder” at least in English writings as early as the early 20th century, the Holocaust as a mass murder of Jews was hardly spoken or written about in the West before the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. Only a few scholarly studies had appeared by that time. Admittedly, memoirs of the ‘miracle survivors’ of the concentration camps and fictional ‘fact-based’ books had come off the presses, but since there was no mass media promotion of the Holocaust for political purposes, these writings were virtually ignored by society.

As the Jewish state was able to convincingly prove its military superiority over its Arab neighbours in the so-called “Six-Day War”, Israel became a staunch US military and political ally in the Middle East. As a result of the fact that a great many countries in the world began to criticise Israel for its conquests and for unleashing genocide against the Palestinians, an ideological weapon was deployed which was intended from the outset to quash any criticism of Israel and the Zionist organisations. This weapon became the Holocaust.

"The weapon of religious deception with which the Jews are attacked is more dangerous than the weapons of money and fire with which they fight openly. The Jewish deception, which is permissible for the peoples of the world, should never be used by our newspapers and writers. On the contrary, the peoples of our Arab world, whom the Jewish deception aims to annihilate by usurping their land or seizing it and enslaving them, must work to expose this deception throughout the world."
