‘BTS’ RM revealed a new face.
On the 1st, RM released the first concept photo of his 2nd solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' on BTS' SNS.
‘Human Kim Namjoon’ was captured. I felt freedom in an everyday space, not in a flashy appearance on stage. This concept photo was created in collaboration with Hong Kong photographer Wing Sha.
Wing Xia is a famous photographer who took the poster photo for director Wang Kar-wai's movie 'Happy Together'. We had a chance to work together on this project after shooting a magazine pictorial with RM last year.
Wing Xia interpreted the meaning of the new album in his own way and expressed it through photos. Wing Sha used unique light and contrast to maximize RM's sensuous atmosphere.
I captured him on camera with a unique composition. RM stared straight ahead in a seemingly cramped space, revealing deeper eyes. He showed off his model aura even without any fancy props.
Big Hit Music said, "Different concept photos will be released on the 3rd and 17th. The photos to be released in the future were worked with new photographers in different regions."
He continued, “It will be fun to see how the three writers interpreted and expressed ‘Light Place Long Person,’ the album title and the main message of the new album.”
The new album talks about universal emotions that everyone has felt at least once in their lives, like 'a stranger who doesn't fit in'. It contains a total of 11 songs. RM participated in writing lyrics for all songs. It will be released at 1pm on the 24th.
