According to Hanteo Chart, a website that aggregates album sales, on the 16th, BTS Jin's solo album 'Happy' sold 845,690 copies on the first day of its release (the 15th), taking first place on the daily album chart. This figure far surpasses the initial sales (771,260 copies) of Jin's solo single 'The Astronaut' released in 2022, proving his continued popularity.

Jin also showed a green light for success on the iTunes chart. As of 9 am on the 16th, 'Happy' topped the iTunes 'Top Albums' charts in 48 countries/regions, including Japan, Mexico, and Ecuador. The title song of the new album, ‘Running Wild’, topped iTunes ‘Top Song’ in 70 countries/regions including Australia, Finland, and Brazil. In addition, all the songs on the album, including ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Another Level’, ‘Until You Touch Me’, ‘Heart on the Window (with Wendy)’, and ‘Grieum-e’, entered the top ranks of iTunes ‘Top Song’ in various countries/regions.

On the 16th, Jin will fire a signal flare for his solo album ‘Happy’ activities with his fans. Jin will hold a fan showcase, ‘Jin ‘Happy’ Special Stage’, at Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 16th and 17th. This fan showcase is filled with Jin’s desire to spend meaningful time with ARMY (fandom name) to commemorate the release of his new album.
