I have a new found respect for Karan Johar after watching Two much with Kajol and Twinkle. The ladies are so full of themselves, they won’t allow the guests to speak. They keep cutting them off and we get half stories. I was still reeling from Kajol’s 9-5 comment but …. this one is for Twinkle.
She thinks she is funny and intelligent because she has written a book and a few articles. To be honest, she tries too hard to crack a joke and her one liners look rehearsed. It almost feels like she inserts a one liner wherever she can, irrespective of the situation. She thinks that she is the intellectual, and Akshay is the bimbo - and makes no bones (pun intended) to say it in public. Funnily, Akshay is the true natural comedian and his simplicity & street smartness far exceeds her convoluted sense of intelligence. I did watch the Shan Prasher video and yes he is a misogynist in general, but certain points about her being loud, putting people down and especially her forced “I am so funny I crack one liners every 2 minutes” is spot on. Also talking about sagging boobs, tight skin etc to sound forward…
In one episode, she says her Pandit had predicted she will be a great writer even before she became one. Darling, no one would be reading your books if you were not Akshay’s wife. The mediocrity she is rolling out in the name of literature….
Sometimes it’s best to stay away from the limelight otherwise people get to know the real you which is not good. Kajol and Twinkle need two stay away.
