有無發現，一朝起身成個 social media 都係北極光，不少移居英國的朋友不約而同分享﹐在自己屋企抬頭就看到北極光，這個現象是因為強烈太陽風暴，令差不多整個英國都可以看到北極光。

Hi,

You may already know that the "Hongkonger Community Center (HKCC)" is a global network that started in North America and has since expanded to over 20 cities worldwide, connecting Hongkongers around the globe. Now, the Manchester HKCC is also up and running in the UK, supported by "AAUK Activity Alchemists" and "HKBH Hong Kong Business Hub"!

We aim to promote the daily activities of Hongkongers in Manchester, offering recreational, cultural, and entertainment activities for people to connect and engage. We also welcome people from different backgrounds to join, promoting inclusivity.

"AAUK Activity Alchemists" is a non-profit community group run by Hongkongers and other communities in the UK. Over the past three years, they've organised activities engaging over 50,000 participants.

"HKBH Hong Kong Business Hub" is anindependent international business organisation, representing Hong Kong-related businesses of allsizes and individuals that have a stake in developingtrade in, with, or through the UK and USA.

"Manchester HKCC" aims to work with more groups and individuals through these networks to build a global community of Hongkongers and achieve the following goals:

💛 Promote and preserve Hongkonger identity, culture, and language, helping Hongkongers integrate into local communities and improve their quality of life.

關於講者
Judy Lee
教授語文及兒童芭蕾舞逾十五年，並以 #粵文寫作 及參與 #推廣粵語運動 。三文四語自由教師、文字工作者。翻譯及編校的文本題材廣泛，學術方面包括 #香港政治、#政策研究、#國際關係、香港及中國歷史、#電影研究 等，另參與電視節目、外國媒體、奢侈品、博物館、旅遊及酒店品牌等商業文案項目。《末代港督的告解》及《民主進墓：永續執政與印度專制之路》譯者。

畢業於香港大學政治及法學系，主修 #國際關係，及後取得西班牙薩拉曼卡大學西班牙研究文憑及拉丁美洲研究碩士學位，現為德國圖賓根大學漢學系講師及研究助理、歐洲當代臺灣研究中心常駐研究員，學術興趣為香港及臺灣研究。
