Growing up in Chicago, I have semi-regularly attended local car shows and meetups over the years.
I’ve always noticed a very unusual trend that there’s always these groups that show up in super flamboyant, uber high-end exotics (Lambo’s/Ferrari’s/etc.) and these guys tend to always be from eastern Europe.
What’s most stuck out is that when asked what they do, the answer is regularly “trucking”.
This may or may not be connected to your post, but it’s an anecdotal observation I’ve had over 2+ decades of being involved in these types of events (pre-dating my own awakening).
