"As my family scrambled to the airport - late and unprepared from the last-minute packing - we were watched outside our home by plainclothes police, who then followed us to the airport and tailed us through check-in," said John Sudworth. There is absolutely no concept of #PressFreedom in their minds and we should lose the hope that they would improve.

一班居住唔同城市嘅加國港人集合籌備依個「#IAmHongKonger」計劃。我哋想呼籲加國港人嚟緊加拿大人口普查填寫香港人作為佢哋嘅種族身份，同埋填寫廣東話作為居家常用語言。
根據加拿大二零一六年的人口普查，至今有215,775名在香港出生的人移民並居住於加拿大。但現時並無官方統計顯示有關香港種族身份的數據，亦無正式承認「香港人」為種族身份。無可靠的統計數據，服務提供商，政策制定者和社區組織將無辦法為我哋提供適當的服務。

【🌏 各地聯合發起「6.12 全球聲援香港」計劃！】
世界各地港人將在6月聯合發起「6.12 黑夜維城 星光照夜・全球聲援香港」計劃，而今天也正式發佈這計劃的第一波文宣。
誠如兩星期前所說，2021年象徵著（1）反送中2週年、（2）香港開埠180年跟（3）香港保衛戰80週年。加諸国安法下，在地香港人難以大規模動員，因此今年在海外舉辦一個相互連動、傳承香港文化、身分的聲援計劃比以往更重要。
▍截至今天，已由12國增至有來自15個國家的手足聯合發起「6.12 黑夜維城 星光照夜・全球聲援香港」計劃，包括：英、美、加、德、日、韓、台、澳、紐、荷、挪、瑞典、丹麥、瑞士、愛爾蘭15國。
誠然，疫情下各國能否如願舉辦集會，實取決於6月時各地疫情與法令。故此，最終各地聲援行動的形式可能不限於實體集會，也可能是展覽、網上研討會等[1]。
▍固然個別地方團隊以往集會已做得很出色。但今年個人希望再次略盡綿力協調，汲取經驗和鼓勵各地善用過去兩年累積的國際媒體人脈，以求增加全球集會的曝光率及後續影響力。
除此之外，部分城市也會積極嘗試邀請「奶茶聯盟」的盟友、維吾爾、西藏人等受壓迫民族出席活動，相互扶持。與眾多組織對談後，也有其他與計劃相關的想法正在蘊釀；如一切順利，會逐步對外公佈。
由於全球有大大小小，數十甚至上百個港人組織，假如我或團隊尚未親自接觸個別組織，懇請多多包涵[2]。
▍最後，個人必須強調整個計劃是世界各地港人和支持港人的組織聯合發起。縱然會額外親自籌備倫敦集會，本人角色實在微不足道；功成不必在我，整個全球聲援香港計劃成功才是最重要的事。

【國際戰線｜加拿大大學被揭與中共有近百個合作研究 學者籲叫停項目以防敏感技術外洩】
繼英美兩國開始關注當地大學與中共的合作項目後，加媒《Global and Mail》報道，加拿大阿爾伯塔大學（University of Alberta）被指與中共進行納米技術、生物技術和人工智能等敏感技術的科研合作，大學教授及研究員亦與中資公司合資成立企業，將加拿大開發的技術商業化，外界質疑做法令中共更易偷取該國敏感技術。
報道揭發，阿爾伯塔大學自2005年起便與中共科學技術部簽訂協議，容許該大學研究員進入50多間中國國家實驗室，當中至少60名教授曾參與中共近百個省政府或國家級研究項目。大學在2018年甚至接受一筆來自去年支持《國安法》的全國政協常委蔡冠深的捐款，但大學拒絕透露捐款內容。
報道引述負責資助全國大學科研的「自然科學與工程研究委員會」前官員指出，阿爾伯塔大學現時是當地最積極與中資機構合作研發工作的大學之一，認為學界只是集中幫助中國強化其科研能力，忽視這些聯合研究長遠對加拿大有什麼影響。
一名相當關注這些加中合作的阿大教授亦向媒體表示，中共經常利用金錢、旅行及酒店資助，利誘加拿大研究員去提供敏感技術，亦有大學學者表示，加拿大當局過去過份呼籲研究機構「走出去」，無視相關合作的風險，認為現時應該懸崖勒馬，叫停這些合作項目。
其實加拿大政府今年三月期間已經向加拿大大學發出新指引， 要求大學評估及資助研究項目時，必須考慮國家安全風險， 一旦發現研究員收受外國資金從事相關研究工作，當局就會去信相關機構作出提醒，但現時未有禁令明文限制他們繼續研究。
事實上，英國早前亦加強審查英國大學與中方機構的合作項目，逾200名英國學者因涉協助中共製造大殺傷力武器，或違反禁止向敵國出口敏感技術的《2008年出口管制法》而被當局調查。美英兩國近年亦收緊中國留學簽證安排，禁止在敏感學科讀書和工作，以免敏感技術被竊。
隨着越來越多中國留學生被中方收買充當學術間諜，外國將針對中共濫用機制而逐步收緊限制，料各國政界將呼籲立法叫停這些與中方的合作項目，以免海外大學成為中國敏感技術的孵化器。
