Dear Community;

We discovered a significant security breach on the Casper Network. In order to minimize the effects of this security breach, we have worked with the validators to halt the network until this security breach has been patched.

We will have further updates as we investigate the situation.

Details of the security breach will be made public once the issue has been resolved, following standard practices to ensure any risks are contained. A comprehensive post-mortem report will be available shortly after the breach is resolved, and any code changes will be reflected in Casper's public GitHub repository.

We have halted the network, ensuring that no further malicious actions can affect any accounts. It is worth noting that a very limited number of significant accounts have been affected.

Casper Association, CasperLabs and the Validators/community are actively working to resolve the issue. The network has been halted and the security breach is contained. The issue has been identified and a solution is being worked on. Further updates will be provided.
