We want to provide you with an update on resolving the current state. The Casper team has been working diligently to and progress has been made.
Key points as of now:
🔹 An update to the Casper blockchain is currently undergoing thorough testing and will be made available to the validator community once testing is complete
🔹 After staging and release, the validator community will resume running consensus and restart the production of blocks
🔹 Less than 13 accounts were affected and all unauthorized transfers have been traced
🔹 The Casper team identified the issue and has been working on a comprehensive solution.
🔹Further updates will follow Evening Europe Time/Afternoon US Eastern Time/Night and morning Asia Time

We want to provide an important update to the community. The Casper Validators are meeting on Wednesday 31 July 2024 at 1400 UTC. In that meeting details of the upgrade will be provided. Once the validators accept the upgrade, they will then immediately resume consensus and minting of blocks.

Dear Casper community,
We are happy to report that Casper has resumed consensus, and network transactions are being validated.
On 31 July 2024 at 15:18 UTC, 64 validators, representing 85 percent of CSPR staked on the Casper network, reached unanimous consent to resume validation here. The Casper network is fully operational and the security incident has been resolved, thanks to a comprehensive, decentralized effort that brought together validators, engineers and other parties.

Today marks an exciting milestone for Casper: After months of behind-the-scenes development, Casper Labs and Greyscale AI are recording the first batch of Greyscale AI training data to the Casper blockchain. 20,000 lots are being updated to Casper Mainnet today, with 280,000 additional lots expected to be deployed to Casper over the coming weeks. This is just the first step in Prove AI’s broader roll-out, and already represents a significant increase in daily transactions on the Casper mainnet.
This marks Prove AI’s first official footprint on the Casper network, ahead of its September launch. Since the spring, Casper Labs has been working with Greyscale AI, along with several additional design partners, as it develops the Prove AI governance solution alongside IBM.
