Scam warning

As we’ve recently noticed the inglorious comeback of a few scam schemes, we’ve decided to warn you about them, hoping you’ll never face any, but still, better be prepared.

The first one is, “You were credited with some money, now transfer us some coins to access the whole sum.”

The second goes like this, “You’ve invested successfully; to get your profit, send us some coins.”

(You can see the examples in the gallery. Those are real letters our clients received and, luckily, had some doubts about and forwarded to us to clarify things.)

Both scam schemes are based on the same lie: you never need to spend anything to get the money if it is already in your wallet. Besides, nobody’s giving you money for free, and you’d better never invest in any unknown projects hoping for profit (do your own research ofc).

Why does it concern us? Changelly is often mentioned by scammers as a platform that stores the “money” — that’s how we got those complaints from our users. An important reminder: Changelly is not a wallet. Since we do not provide any money-storing facilities, we can never store anyone’s funds.
