This is the call of the departing

If a deceased sinful muslim were to speak, he would perhaps say:

They carried my body in the heavy saddened coffin. My body...they were burdened by it

Their steps shed tears
quietly, as I took my final journey

They cry the loss of their beloved as their eyelids turn red from the flood of tears

Then, the soil of my grave was thrown I became imprisoned in my grave

Days have passed since I have been buried, as if years have passed I have no neighbour except the soil and some branches

Alone, I am alone!
Little provisions and sorrow and tears, and I have been separated from what I owned
To whom will the wealth be passed afterwards?

Death has brought an end to my life I have left behind my family as they enjoy the pleasures of life. There will be no return for me and they do not care

As they enjoy the pleasures of life as though they didn't know

They talk and laugh Unmindful, they enjoy!

When I am mentioned, they supplicate. However, their joy is uninterrupted as though I am an old dream or they just fail to remember me

They have stopped visiting their beloved one, they disregard his grave, they do not long for me, are they truly compassionate?

The grave that appears to be far is indeed close, the one buried in it is like a stranger. They have been preoccupied by the world indulging in its moments of deception

How many times have I been overwhelmed by its love, and now, I am subject to my sins

I have wasted years of my life, and too, they waste many years

My body, which I cherished is weakened before the worms in my grave. They consume what they want, I cannot defend or protect it.

O slave of Allah, remember that you were created from an insignificant liquid, Leave out dreams, my loved ones
Awake! O neglectful ones

People will not attain the high ranks when they are lazy and sleeping, the lofty Paradise is granted to those who seek the high ranks, those who stay up in the night doing good the sincere believers, those who fast in the day, and they fear their Lord

This is the call of the departing

A call for you as you depart O you who shall follow, you shall receive, what your predecessors have received, your forefathers are destined to die, when will you wake up? They died when their time came and you shall soon die!
