Whenever something about masjid al Aqsa is mentioned by the media, they show the picture of the Dome of the Rock and not the picture of masjid al Aqsa. And many Muslims also think that the golden dome is masjid al Aqsa.
They want to mislead you to believe that the dome of the Rock is masjid al Aqsa, so when they destroy AlAqsa, nobody will know and nobody will really care.
There is a difference between masjid al Aqsa and the dome of the rock. Please know the difference
