አስተሳሰብን መቆጣጠር ማለት ወደ እኔ የሚመጣውን ወይም በውስጤ የሚፈጠረውን ሃሳብ በማጣራት ማስተናገድ ማለት ነው፡፡ አስተሳሰባችንን ሳንለውጥ ሕይወታችንንም ሆነ ሁኔታችንን መለወጥ አንችልም፡፡ ይህ የሚሆንበት ምክንያት የሁሉ ነገር መጀመሪያ አስተሳሰብ ስለሆነና አስተሳሰባችን የማንነታችን “ወፍጮ” በመሆኑ ነው፡፡ በመጀመሪያ አንድ ሃሳብ ወደ አእምሮአችን ይገባል፡፡ በመቀጠልም ይህ ሃሳብ በውስጣችን ይብላላና በንግግርና በተግባር መገለጥ ይጀምራል፡፡ ይህ ተግባር ወደ ልማድ ከተለወጠ በኋላ ፍጻሜአችንን የመለወጥና የመቅረጽ ጉልበት ይኖረዋል፡፡ ይህ ሃሳብ ጤናማም ሆነ ጤና ቢስ ሂደቱ ያው አንድ ነው፡፡
ጤና ቢስ አመለካከቶችን ለማስወጣት መውሰድ የምትችላቸው እርምጃዎች፡-
1. በሕይወትህ የምታሰላስላቸውን ሃሳቦች ለይተህ እወቅ፡፡
ለማንነትህና ለሕይወትህ አላማ የሚመጥኑ ሃሳቦች ምን እንደሆኑ ለይተህ ማወቅ አለብህ፡፡ ይህንን ለይተህ ስታውቅ በሃሳቦች መካከል መለየትንና የትኛውን ማስተናገድ እንዳለብህ ጥርት ባለ መልኩ እንድታውቅ ይረዳሃል፡፡
2. ጤና ቢስ አስተሳሰቦችን አታስተናግዳቸው፡፡
የመጣ ሃሳብ ሁሉ በአእምሮህ ስፍራ ማግኘት የለበትም፡፡ ለጤናማ አመለካከትህና ላስቀመጥከው የሕይወት ከፍታና ደረጃ የማይመጥነውን ተራ ሃሳብ በመጣበት ፍጥነት እንዲወጣ ተቃወመው፡፡ ይህንንም ልምምድ የዘወትር አድረገው፡፡
3. ጤና ቢሱን አስተሳሰብ በጤናማ አስተሳሰብ ቀይር፡፡
ከዚህ በፊት በውስጥህ ያስተናገድካቸውን ጤና ቢስ ሃሳቦች መልካምና ስኬታማ በሆኑ ጤናማ ሃሳቦች መለወጥ መጀመር አለብህ፡፡ ከአእምሮህ ክፉውን ሃሳብ አስወጥተህ በጤናማው ካልተካኸው ሌላ ሃሳብ መሙላቱ አይቀርም፡፡
