Hello, VERY Community.

The first halving of mining in the VERYCHAT app is just one day away. While the exact time cannot be specified, the halving will begin within the next 24 hours.

This milestone is clear evidence that the VERYCHAT ecosystem has grown significantly. As mining rewards decrease, the scarcity of VERY will increase, and so will its value.


⚖️ A Decision for Fairness and Equitable Distribution

Until now, the difference in rewards between app mining and node mining has caused a sense of disparity for some users. With the app halving approaching, this gap would widen further, which could undermine our core principle of fair distribution and even threaten the sustainability of our project.

Therefore, we have made an important decision:

From now on, whenever a halving occurs in app mining, the same halving will also apply to node mining. This will preserve the distinct value of nodes while ensuring fairness with app mining.

We believe this policy change will strengthen our community, accelerate its growth, and ultimately increase the value of VERY — which in turn also enhances the value of nodes.


💡 Node Refund Policy

Since this new policy was not communicated in advance, we understand that some node purchasers may feel disadvantaged.

Therefore, we will accept refund requests for nodes until October 15.
▫️ To request a refund, all previously mined VERY must be fully returned.
▫️ All VERY mined by refunded nodes will be completely burned.
▫️ This applies only to those who purchased nodes.

📢 Announcement on the In-App First Halving and Node Halving

Hello, VERY Community.
This is Bryan Ko, CEO of VERYCHAT.

First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for the sudden announcement regarding the synchronization of the node halving with tomorrow’s app mining halving. It was an immature and hasty action on our part.

Through multiple simulations and considerations in preparation for this halving, I have come to realize that node and app halvings should have been aligned from the very beginning. I acknowledge that this was not fully thought through.

Although we anticipated that this decision might cause strong opposition and dissatisfaction among some users, it was an unavoidable choice made for the benefit of both VERYCHAT and all VERY holders. I firmly believe that today’s decision will ultimately lead us to greater success, while also having the positive effect of relatively increasing the value of early mining rewards for existing miners.

That said, I fully acknowledge that this announcement was too abrupt and did not provide sufficient time for everyone to prepare. To address this, we have taken community feedback into account and will adjust the node halving schedule and refund policy as follows:

• The node halving will be postponed by one month.
• The new schedule is October 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM (KST).

1. For node owners who have operated their nodes, we will provide a full refund including electricity costs.
2. All VERY mined by refunded nodes will be completely burned.
3. Reclaimed nodes will be redistributed back into the ecosystem and reused for invitation rewards and community expansion.
4. The total node count will remain at 8,000.

📌 Additional Community Feedback

Some community members requested that the distribution cycle of invitation reward nodes be extended beyond the current two-week cycle.
However, many participants eagerly look forward to the two-week distribution, and since the total amount distributed through this channel is less than 1% of the total supply, the impact on overall mining is minimal. Therefore, we have decided to maintain the current two-week distribution cycle.

Once again, I sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by my premature announcement. At VERYCHAT, we always prioritize the principles of fair distribution and community growth.

I truly believe that today’s adjustments will help solidify the future of the VERY ecosystem and bring greater value to all our holders.
